Was a bit tricky to find as it’s kind of right in the middle of the shopping center (Kent Station). It’s right next to the Chipotle, if that helps...

Anyway, definitely feels like a chain restaurant when you walk in. Being that it was like 10pm on a Tuesday, the place wasn’t super crowded. It’s a pretty massive location, though. They seemed to have a main dining area, but I went over to the bar (also sizable) as I was alone and figured I’d watch some baseball and try some beers and get some food.

The food was pretty decent for a brewpub. I went with one of their burgers. Beers, though...not so much. The two IPAs they had were nice, but otherwise not great. Particularly the peach Berliner Weisse...rough. But at least the service was friendly.

A group of people came in and started to just get hammered, ordering shots right next to me, so I got some extra entertainment from that. I can’t say I blame them, as I probably wouldn’t choose to drink the beer here again.

standard fare - kinda like a BJ’s - good food and so so beer to go with it. Chain feel.

Checked this place out after a T-Birds game a couple weeks ago. It’s the usual decently well-run chain: nothing too exciting on the menu, not much personality to the dining room. The beers are probably less interesting here than the Rams where the brewers really stretch (Tacoma waterfront, Puyallup, and Northgate). It’s interesting how much effort Kent has made to give people places to hang out and do stuff downtown--two months ago, I honestly didn’t know Kent had a downtown. Now you can check out a Birds game and get a beer here and there. Anyway, The Ram: It has a huge dining room divided into three sections. One section has a three-story wall of glass, kind of a rotunda facing out onto the mall concourse. They bring you the big plastic menu, and you order the food that’s exactly like all the other locations. You can get a decent burger, and they have some gooey sweet desserts. All in all, if you’re aiming to pick up one Ram rate in the Puget Sound, I’d go with Tacoma first, or Northgate

Kent Ram Bighorn Brewery was the last stop and wow we had a great time. The service was awesome and the server actually did a great job with explaining the beers. She had affair knowledge of the product and when she saw I was rating the place she was full of her own questions about beer. I got a simple Belgian dark and a Saison for my beverages and had a great dinner with my wife. The atmosphere was the same but I like the Ram they have a homey feel with the local high school colors hanging in the rafters. I can say this you know what you’re going to get with your food and beer and the beer maybe not he world class stuff you get at some places. But they sure give it a good try and do there best and put out a good product for the masses. They even try to put out different brews that will test the average beer drinker and maybe even turn one into a Beer Geek. I will take back my previous statements that I was not going to try to seek out Ram Bighorns and that they are all the same. They have each there own little special atmosphere and style. And better yet they do have different beers to try for each place. Good Job Ram.

Staff are either clueless about beer or act if they know something and end up getting confused when explaining the beer. The seasonal beer is never posted and never suggested. Nice location though, if you get to sit outside. Inside is just typical chain decor.. and there several televisions blasting sports at you with really bad adult contemporary music. What a mix. And if that was not enough at least half of the patrons drink either Bud or Corona. Kent has a ways to go still.

Staff gets a bit confused when 20 or 50 people are waiting to be seated. Obviously the folks South of Seattle think it is the place to be. Great beer. Great food.
