Nano brewery. Plastic garbage can fermenters. Sub par beer for a premium price. The beers are really amateur and unimpressive, definitely not worth the price. The food is locally sourced, and is generally the only thing good they have going on...however, they employ local teenagers in the kitchen, so sometimes you get a really poorly assembled plate. It would be great if they improved their beers, but the brewer seems to be under a spell of "elevated brewer’s ego", which seems to be a common affliction among shabby brewers. Not worth going out of your way for.

I went shortly after opening and they only had four house beers on tap at the time. The beers were decent as was the food and reasonably priced at that. Service was all over the place as it was my servers first day and she just didn’t have knowledge of the beers yet. The brewmaster stopped by and I talked to him for a minute about the beers but he had to get back to brewing. I look forward to stopping in again and will re-rate at that time.

It’s a little tough to review a place that has only been opened 2 weeks. Very friendly CHEERS-like. Old historic building. A DIY brewpub where the owners build by hand. More of a tap room? Seating for 49. 1 barrel system brewing twice a day a large variety of beer. The problem was that the brewmaster could not brew until inspections were completed AND- he was doing more building then brewing. Good food, try the potatoes! Once this place get the kinks out of the process this will be a sweet place to relax in the middle of historic Columbus.

Rustic little bar/cafe feel off of 151 on Hwy 60. One of the owners was bar tending and was very friendly and willing to talk about the beers and their (short) history. As they have only been open for about a week, they are still working out a few kinks, but I was pretty impressed in my short visit. Nice little pub food menu in the works and beer offerings diverse, but with pretty quick turnover (due to relatively small batches I assume). One guest tap and a small bottle selection of mostly Wisconsin brews. The set of 4x4oz samplers was $4.25. I will definitely stop back to see where they are at. From what I had, seems like there could be some good stuff in the works.
