The half-price happy hour is the best value on the planet for a well-selected range of nicely rotated brews (though St. B 12 is always on hand). The staff are very knowledgeable, respectful, and gracious. Great frites too.

Jacs is a pretty worthwhile beer destination in Madison. There are about 15 or so taps, with 4-5 Belgians. The happy hour, from 4-7, is awesome...half price drinks. Pretty nice to drink a Westmalle Dubbel bottle or a Bernardus Abt12 draft for 4 dollars. I havent had the food, but it looks pretty nice, certainly more attractive than your typical brewpub. Proper glassware too.
