68 /100 Kinmel Arms (Bar) PRIMROSE HILL Flanking the beautiful Kinmel Estate in the heart of St George’s small village centre at the top of the hill if you’re coming here from the A55. This is a beautiful pub in its own building that looks like is built as part of the estate it is on the corner of. There’s plenty of parking out front where several picnic tables also exist but there’s a nice graden area at the side too. The inside of the pub is worthy of the idilic village itself with wooden floors, fireplaces, stone walls and decent period style furniture that works well around the square central bar. Food seems to be the reason most people come here and they’ve added a tasteful enough conservatory area at the back to increase capacity. There’s four real ale pumps at the bar which includes a fairly decent Welsh craft selection be it ale, lager or cider. |
68 /100 Kinmel Arms (Bar) PRIMROSE HILL A very Germanic looking building just off Junction 24A of the A55. A very rural setting and not too far from the North Wales coastal resorts. 2 real ales and a cider on hand pull when I called. Thwaites appear to be a regular with a changing guest beer. It’s a restaurant / hotel that serves real ale. Worth a visit if nearby. |
