84 /100 Löwenbräu Felsenkeller (Restaurant) RÖTTENBACHERSTR. 27 One of the finest bierkellers. They have their 2 classics original Helles and dunkles from Draft in gold condition. Big forest vibes. Cozy. Feels a long Way fron home. Stunner. |
86 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 3 Stunner. Family driven. 4,5 of their own beers served in prime condition. Delicious Food. A winner in the heart of where it all goes Down. |
82 /100 AISCHER HAUPTSTRASSE 5 Excellent. 1 Kellerbier. Lipsmacking delicious. Lovely garden. Friendly. Awesome |
74 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 3 Nice brewery hotel and restaurant between Bamberg and Nurnberg you can drink their own beers by tap |
60 /100 Löwenbräu Felsenkeller (Restaurant) RÖTTENBACHERSTR. 27 Pretty "Bierkeller" on the road between Neuhaus and Röttenbach, located in a clearing in an otherwise deep forest; just one beer, right from the Kellerhaus and from the wooden barrel is available there. Anyway, typical franconian atmosphere, worth a visit! |
68 /100 AISCHER HAUPTSTRASSE 5 Just 1 but perfect brew. Didn’t come inside as we were sitting in the beergarten - small, but very nice. |
76 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 3 3 very good taps. In addition to brewery restaurant you can check really great beergarten located in the forest nearby - excellent place. |
70 /100 AISCHER HAUPTSTRASSE 5 A block in the center of town houses the brewery and the gasthof, while a makeshift biergarten across the street gives added space for the crowds. On our midday visit we were the only folks present. As silly Americans we found the act of carrying a full glass of beer across the street to the picnic tables a novel adventure. This brewery actually serves their beer in glass mugs much like you find throughout Czech Republic. The hausbier is a juicy and hoppy and just-sweet kellerbier. The sample I had did was some serious diacetyl problem, which is a shame because it seems like it had the making of another gem - juicy, full-bodied, minerally, hoppy but balanced, etc. Alas, lack of cleanliness made this one hard to drink. |
88 /100 AISCHER HAUPTSTRASSE 5 Excellent Food, service is quick. The homemade beer is great. |
62 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 3 Quite "noble" franconian Gasthaus in a very quiet village with a very modern brewery in the backyard. Their beers are not the best in Franconia........ |
64 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 3 A very comfortable bar and restaurant. Also the rooms in the hotel are nice and clean. Very good food and friendly staff. They got there own beer, 6 different kinds. Not everything was available. But the beers which were in stock are served well. A good place to stop and drink some beers. |
62 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 3 A nice gasthoff, big dining space, both booths and big open areas, good food, we stayed here, and ate three nights here - try the Carp if in season. The gasthof is well priced, and the rooms big. So a good place to stop for a night or two. 3 beers on draft and 3 on bottles. The service very friendly. |
62 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 3 Excellent food and decent beer. Good hotel rooms in a quiet village. Restaurant can be busy, but the service stays friendly and fairly quick. Home made meat, genevers and alcools blancs. |
50 /100 AISCHER HAUPTSTRASSE 5 Nice place for a short break when touring Franconia by bike.......Across the street is a really nice patio, looking like a garden-house. Everything is typically franconian......... |
62 /100 AISCHER HAUPTSTRASSE 5 Had a quick lunch there with a small glass of helles. Lovely patio opposite the brewery tap. Friendly service. |
