On our midday visit we were the only folks present. As silly Americans we found the act of carrying a full glass of beer across the street to the picnic tables a novel adventure. This brewery actually serves their beer in glass mugs much like you find throughout Czech Republic. The hausbier is a juicy and hoppy and just-sweet kellerbier. The sample I had did was some serious diacetyl problem, which is a shame because it seems like it had the making of another gem - juicy, full-bodied, minerally, hoppy but balanced, etc. Alas, lack of cleanliness made this one hard to drink.“ |
