“A large supermarket in Agia Marina. Has quite a large beer shelf with some beers that I didn't see anywhere else. Lots to choose from, but the prices are quite high. Still, if in search of something new, check it out.“

“Supermarket in sort of walking distance from platanias bus square, towards chania. selection is good for the area, and even better, they have several breweries that mega synka,mr.cellar, bars in the area, and osiris shopping centre does not have, so a good supplement if you are hunting ticks. Besides the good greek ones (some crete, quite a lot from greece in general) they also have some polish macro stuff, and various random international macros. rochefort, la trappe also to be found. For a supermarket, this is indeed very nice. The supermarket itself is not huge , they just have a very decent beer fridge, compared to most other supermarkets on the island. Bring a rucksack, you won't want to leave this place with 20 bottles in greek plastic bags.“

“This is a well known family restaurant in Agia Marina, located uphill from the old national road. They brew 5 different beers, all served from bottles. As i visited almost at the end of season, there was only 1 beer left, a 8% Abbey beer, which was good enough. There is also a good bottled selection of Greek micros, like Volcan, Lyra,Solo, Sknipa,Septem,Lefkas and Delphi. Well worth a visit.“

“One of several Mega-SYN.KA (and regular SYN.KA), as well as numerous other supermarkets along PEO Kissamou Chanion road, but this one is a bit bigger than most, and has a decent selection of Greek micros; Voreia; Septem; Brink's; Nisos; and others.“
