60 /100 30 BARR ROAD Nice brewery located in a strip mall, plenty of parking, food truck (Caribbean this time). Very friendly service. Beers are ok at best. Flight is 4x 4 ounces for 8.50$. |
74 /100 30 BARR ROAD medium size place with a patio; modern cottage decour; 10 own beers on tap plus bottles and growler fills, limited food menu, good wifi, opens before noon, inexpensive flights; overall a much welcomed place in the beer desert of suburbia |
68 /100 30 BARR ROAD Decent stop if in the area. Good environment, decent beers. |
68 /100 Finn McCools (Bar) 36 KINGSTON RD. EAST, Stopped by here when visiting a friend. They had some live music and the place was fairly busy when I was there. Food is average/ slightly over priced for what you are getting. Frozen beef eater fries and the like is what you should expect. Beer selection is lager heavy but has a decent selection of craft. They seem to carry more craft in bottle format than taps however. Staff is friendly and they love talking about craft beer so that is also a plus. I don’t know what the offerings at other public houses are like in the area but i’d definitely return to this place. |
