76 /100 Weighbridge (Bar) SCARFIELD WHARF Canalside pub close to Alvechurch station. Multi roomed pub serving 6 or 7 cask, mostly local options. Big garden outside. Nice place. |
68 /100 Weighbridge (Bar) SCARFIELD WHARF The Weighbridge is a ways out of town but very convenient for the railway stop. Multi-room and very traditional if a bit staid. The beer list is also very traditional with a cider and about six casks, including some well-known West Midlands Brewers such as Hobsons and Kinver alongside smaller outfits such as Halton Turner. I suspect this is a bit more of an eating pub but you are certainly welcome to sit down with a pint. The beer is certainly reasonably priced and well-kept. Family friendly. |
84 /100 Weighbridge (Bar) SCARFIELD WHARF Friendly canalside pub with a well kept selection of ales and cider.Deserved winner of many CAMRA awards making it well worth a visit. So too the annual beer festivals which always feature a couple of dozen or so well thought out ales on stillage. |
80 /100 Weighbridge (Bar) SCARFIELD WHARF Traditional canalside pub just off the M42 outside Birmingham. Friendly banter dominates, good old fashioned chatter along with well chosen Real Ales and Cider. Multi roomed with a large patio area as well, this was the coal weighbridge for the Birmingham to Worcester navigation. Really well worth a visit and the food is really good too. |
