“This was my local when I was growing up, going into it now, half of the lunge bar is taken up by a restaurant for diners only so not much seating space. We then went into the bar side where there was a darts baord and a load of young kids meaning you couldn’t relax. The pub still has an excellent beer garden next to the canal and 3 real ales are available on handpump. I doubt I’ll be visiting again anytime soon“
