“Love the layout of the taproom, with plenty of room at the bar, and additional comfortable tables and seating throughout. Make sure to check out the huge game/arcade room in the back, outdoor area with lights, and comfy couches in the front lounge! The attention to detail and creativity in the beer selection and the fresh ingredients used is phenomenal. Weekly events are a blast Definitely a family friendly vibe with bartenders who are friendly and willing to help you choose a beer that suits your palate.“

“This is 1 1/2-year-old brewery on the road to Mayport Naval Air Station. Nice selection of beers. Next door is a pizza place and close bye is a sub place. Mostly high top tables and a long bar. The brewing system is a 7 barrel. They serve also crowlers to go in cans. The server was most helpful. The tasting room quickly filled up. Worth the visit.“

“This is a local brewpub on the beach. This is an active area with restaurants on both sides of the road. The brewpub has Gordon Biersch beers. The service was excellent and the food was also very good. There are various levels inside which adds to the festive nature of this brewpub. The IPA was above average and the pils average.“

“Quite pricy as most brewpubs in Florida but nice works and good to spend a time after the beach. A little poshy the place but they do not mind how you look.“

“This is a chain place with a real corporate feel. The Dixie/NOLA theme seems forced and the beer seems an afterthought. The food was nice and once I found a spot in the bar the service was okay. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to get a table here in tourist season. It would be okay for a family or non beer people while on vacation, but in no way a beer destination.“

“Went on a lazy day and stopped in for a few beers and an appetizer.

It’s a well-lit, chain-like restaurant with a beach atmosphere. The back bar is by some big windows with a nice view, which is cool. Otherwise, it’s mostly forgettable.

My bartender was prompt and friendly, but really couldn’t speak much to the beers.

Their selection is basically their stuff and BMC - maybe a couple locals.

We ordered some sort of Cajun dip and it was served about room temp and somewhat gloppy, but it tasted okay...

The food is way overpriced, but that comes with the area.

Overall - stop in if you’re up in the Atlantic beach area and want some ticks. Otherwise, don’t make a trip out of it.“

“Typical chain brewpub in the Gordon Biersch vein. Standard lineup but had a couple different seasonals available. I had particularly good service and chat with the bartender on this day but didn’t eat. Very close to the beach, nice spot if you’re in the square on Atlantic Beach.“

“Nifty little joint right near the beach with brick and wood décor and a bit warn in. I think if it was a good beach day it would be tough getting here and finding a place to park. The help was friendly. The sample platter of house brews was $3.75 (now that’s a nice feature). Most of their brews are pretty thin and nearly forgettable. Wow, this place would be amazing if they had some solid unique well crafted offerings to go along with their very tasty food selection.“

“Visited along with ibrew2or3. Nice location right by the ocean. You can quickly tell this has a definite corporate feel which I absolutely hate. Beer selection is limited to average brews while the food menu was appetizing. I did enjoy the lobster taco a lot. Beers sampler is fairly priced at $3.75, service was ok but nothing memorable. Inside is clear and stylish. Not much atmosphere to speak ok. Worth a stop while in the area, mostly for the food rather than the beer.“

“Ok its at the beach which is 1 good thing it has going for it, sadly the rest goes down hill fast. The beer is the worth of the A1A, 7 bridges clones which are in theory Gorden Biersch clone. I been to two GB places this one is not even in that ball park. Ok the food varies, most would go for seafood and its ok, a bit pricey but again your at a tourist outpost corner of Atlantic beach get over that. They can have music. Ok why am i rating it, well its on a beer web site and that’s the ONLY reason i visit to try different beers. They got 5 or 6 depends on if they are out or not. Their beer sucks period end of story I would not wish this swill water on Gibb.“

“Not my favorite on the island for dinner but they definitey have a better selection than most of micros in the area along with a great menu. Looking out over the water helps a bit too!“

“Very nice place. Once a family-owned establishment and the bartenders are proud of it. Friendly, and enthusiastic about their beers. Their having being bought by GB and part of the same AIA Aleworks/7 Bridges Trio hasn’t seemed to affect the overall vibe of the place. Locals drink here. Three distinct but connected rooms including one where musicians can play. The Atlantic Beach area seems pretty chill and laid-back too. Good vibes.“

Island Grille (Restaurant)

“Very small restaurant but great food with the best micro brew selection in the Atlantic Beach area. Beer cooler is full of an assortment including Ommegang Three Philosophers & Tripel among others. Avoid Monday & Tuesday, had to get in due to their 2 for 1 meal specials. Definitely worth paying full price.“

“Another Gordon Biersch brewpub. Decent decor - they are trying for a New Orleans motif, which doesn’t really work, but it’s still nice. Waitress was prompt and courteous. Fried grouper sandwich was pretty good. Most of the menu is seafood. Decent overall.“

“On the corner directly across from the hotel I stayed at. Typical Brewpub/restraunt decor that leans toward upscale though the feel of this place is more nighborhood hangout than tourist trap. The beers went from awful to decent. Didn’t eat.“

“Corner location two blocks from beach with street parking and pay lots in area. Rough brick look with the interior divided into three sections. Brewing area behind bar with dance floor. Bar area for table waiting and table area with third bar. Freindly service with good knowledge of brews. Had the sampler set and the brews are GB versions with seasonals. Food is standard good GB menu with seafood selections. Off the standard path but well worth a visit if you are near the beach.“
