“This was definitely the most interesting journey to a brewpub I have ever done. You start in the tiny village below, just follow the signs for "sesselbahn." Park and walk toward where the paragliders are landing. You’ll see the chairlift that leads to the brewery. Pay a couple of euro, stand on the marks, and wait for the chair to meet your butt and take you to the top. Koelschtrinker tells me that you can also walk up if you don’t mind a 30 minute steep and arduous adventure. There is a small hut at the top with a tiny (one barrel?) brewkit and a large patio, comfortably crowded when we visited because of the good weather. Only one house beer on offer, so selection score is very low, dragging the total down as is the case for 90% of the brewpubs in Germany. You can watch the paragliders launch from right outside the hut. You can descend with the chairlift, or you can take an adult off-road version of Big Wheels if you’re feeling really adventurous - maybe the only place you can legally drink and drive in Germany. Nice place.“
