“Bar and take away about 200 metres to the east of Clock House railway station. On 2 floors, ground and lower, with fairly steep steps. Also a small amount of outside seating for when the weather permits, but on a main road. Currently early 2024, 3 handpumps plus about 15 keg. Fridges with an interesting selection of beers, and arranged by beer style. Beers are predominantly from London area, but includes others including a few Belgian bottles. Friendly & informed service.“

“12/06/21. Another converted shop. There were a couple of tables on the pavement outside (so by a busy road on a relatively narrow pavement) but I was pleased to see that there were a couple of tables free inside. The bar itself is to the rear on the left, with fridges opposite it on the right hand wall. When I'd looked the tap list up a few days previously they had a range of predominantly London breweries on, including a new brewery tick in Dog's Grandad. However I looked the tap list up the night before and they were having a an Affinity takeover that Friday evening. So on the Saturday they had 3 or 4 Affinity beers on plus a couple of beers on from Siren and Villages. However the fridges saved them as a I was able to pick up some new London brewery ticks, including one of their own Three Hounds Beer Co offerings. Very friendly guys service - when I spotted another London brewery tick on the bar it turned out to be part of some samples they'd had delivered so they just gave it to me. Another places that I would be more than happy to have near me.“

“Visited on 12/06/21. I know nothing about Beckenham. My mate told me, "It's a posher part but I wouldn't want to live here." I only mention that because it did feel quite cosmopolitan sat at one of the continental cafe style tables. They were only doing outside seating but had the foresight to have the 8 or so beers displayed in the window so you could see what was on - a good array featuring two of their efforts plus predominantly South London breweries (Brick, Bullfinch, Mammoth, etc). You could go inside to order and the relatively small former shop contained a small bar and then a few tables. All rather snug. By the time we left all the tables were taken. The one guy manning the place was helpful enough but didn't seem like he was particularly knowledgeable about beer.. Have to admit that I wasn't too bothered about the two Br3wery beers I had but I can't complain about the set up. Would be very happy if a small micropub/brewpub like this opened up near me.“

“Visited 9/11/2018. Shop is owned by the Three Hounds Beer Co. Just a few doors down from Clock House station. Brewers Dad was caretaking when we visited as there was a launch party on just down the road for the breweries latest beer (which was really good btw) and he was very helpful and chatty. Shop has a particular focus on small local London breweries, as well as a range from further afield, and maybe around 150 different beers in total. Certainly worthy of a visit if in vicinity.“
