50 /100 50 KING STREET Never had any bother even when Boro played Greenbacks on Boxing Day. Barstaff pleasant, engaged with their product and endearingly enthusiastic on my last visit. I even got the circular plastic tray/numbered doily treatment. Otherwise, choice limited relative to other local Spoons. Surprisingly bright, airy decor. Have never visited after nightfall. For the discerning beer tourist Beduff also has a Tesco, an Aldi, a bus station and my Sister’s house (only any good if I’m round there). |
66 /100 50 KING STREET High Street Wetherspoon with ample room for a town of Bedworth’s size. There’s ample parking around the back too, although it is public, not a Wetherspoon associated car park. Inside is a fairly traditional affair as this chain goes. It’s comfortable but the furnishing isn’t in your face as some of the newer pubs in this chain are. Where it matters at the bar two rows of ale pumps suffice. If I remember rightly it also has a dartboard and its own pub team. |
