66 /100 110 MICHIGAN LANE Last stop of the day. Small place, has a lodge look to it. Nothing fancy on the outside, inside is a well worn bar and tables. Kind of cramped. Only had one here, as I was looking forward to getting to my hotel. Good service, and taplist a bit short. Overall friendly vibe. |
78 /100 42 WILLIAMS STREET Large repurposed and refurbished industrial building, rustic on the outside, modern on the inside. Big L shaped bar, lots of other seating options, including front porch. Great service, nice variety of taps. A nod to the malty side. Music on the weekends, food available. Wonderful vibe. |
82 /100 42 WILLIAMS STREET Very nice looking place in Cacapon Mountain. Really manages to look scenic inside in a way that not a lot of typical brick and mortar breweries manage. Service was very friendly and good. Beers were available in flights. All done well to style, if nothing super standout. Still better in terms of beer than nearby Berkeley Springs brewery. Had the tacos as well, which were definitely good. |
72 /100 110 MICHIGAN LANE Scenic place just up a mountain road from Berkeley Springs, and not too far off the highway 68 if going to or from western Maryland. Friendly service and a cool looking place. Outside patio was nice in the summer, though a lot of people were scared off by the large amount of wasps. Didn't bother me - one got into the end of my beer and got wasted. They do flights, and have seltzers and stuff for the non beer drinkers. Beer could probably use some work - some quality issues. Worth visiting for the place though. Prices good. |
54 /100 110 MICHIGAN LANE Visited at 4 pm on a Thursday with only 3 other people at the bar. Friendly server with flights available. Beer was so so. But the ambiance was nice and down home. |
56 /100 110 MICHIGAN LANE This brewpub is well outside Berkeley Springs itself, with a parking lot that was full when my wife and I arrived. The place was packed.
Beer is ordered at the bar, we had two flights brought to our table. The bartender who took my beer and food order was very nice. The food was palatable but it took 30 minutes for it to be ready for me to grab at the pickup window.
About a third of the beers we tried, unfortunately, were not good at all. One I returned to the bar as undrinkable vinegar. |
32 /100 Food Lion - Berkeley Springs (Grocery Store) 70 MORGAN SQ Oh shit. Thought I ticked this. Stopped by a few days ago. As others have stated, a small selection of singles. About 4 WV beers all over the place, including singles and six packs. BYO selection was full of regional breweries and alcopops. Not worth going out of your way for but maybe if you happen to be across the street. |
40 /100 Food Lion - Berkeley Springs (Grocery Store) 70 MORGAN SQ Free dedicated parking. No service to speak of. BMC and a hand full of WV six-packs of beer. I also have a pick-six on an end cap from ~$10. Prices seemed average. No reason for me to come back. |
42 /100 Food Lion - Berkeley Springs (Grocery Store) 70 MORGAN SQ For WV, the selection here is actually not bad. Pix six for $10, but sadly nothing local. Sixers from Big Timber and Mountain State in the coolers. That’s about it. Stop in only if you’re passing by. |
46 /100 Food Lion - Berkeley Springs (Grocery Store) 70 MORGAN SQ Located on main road. Larger Food Lion grocery shop. What so special about this spot is that has west Virginia beers. They sell mix your own 6 packs so there if you ever were missing this state this is 2 for 1! Service was poor. |
