“Nice tasting room. This was the first meadery I’ve been to, and as I know, I really enjoy meads. Meads were ok. I would have liked to try more, but my fiancee and I were the only ones there, and the lady working was hovering over me and my rating notes. I would have likely stayed much longer and tried everything they had if she wasn’t hovering over me.“

“They opened up a brand new tasting room last month, allowing them to offer extended hours and year-round service. A big and spacious building with stained glass windows and many taps and bottles for full-strength meads, draft meads, wines, and blends. 8 to 10 seats at the bar and limited seating on the small patio: I wonder if they’re planning to add a few tables to the wide-open interior for more on-premise consumption. Generous free tasting, with meads/wines available for purchase by the glass, by the bottle, or in 32-ounce "howlers." Extremely tasty meads, all with different characteristics, but all delicious. We were the only ones there, so service was bound to be good, but during our tasting, one of the employees went back to label an unlabeled box of Star Thistle mead bottles to make sure it was available to purchase (and we did indeed end up taking a bottle with us)! A wonderful visit!“

“Not too far off 31 southwest of Traverse City - out on its own in the country. Small tasting room with several bottled meads along with 7-8 draft meads available. Great service. A must stop for a Mead lover.“
