66 /100 Roxy's Market - Big Sky (Grocery Store) 20 HUNTLEY DRIVE Right across the parking lot from Beehive Basin, we checked out this little market to see if we could score some MT singles. Score! Nice, well kept beer sction, and singles in all sizes. We raked in a pretty decent haul from here. If at Beehive Basin, definitely worth a stop. |
74 /100 245 TOWN CENTER DRIVE Just up the road from Lone Peak, this is similar to the Lone Peak layout. And like Lone Peak the view of the mountain is hidden by buildings. Wood and iron, bar, high tops and tables for seating options. Nice selection of taps, helpful staff. Be sure to check out Roxy's market across the street too. |
82 /100 Hungry Moose Market and Deli (Grocery Store) 209 ASPEN LEAF DR Hungry Moose is a small grocery store with a deli. They have a coffee bar too. The beer selection is pretty okay. You can find some decent local stuff, maybe a couple regional things. Don’t expect any rarities or a vast amount of bottles. Beer is a little harder to come by in Big Sky, so this is a serviceable stop. |
74 /100 Whiskey Jacks Big Sky (Restaurant) 1 LONE MOUNTAIN TRL Located at the base of Big Sky near the lifts. This is a big place and pretty typical of ski area bars. Live music après ski is a big plus. Beer list is modest -- 9 drafts and 24 bottles -- and dominated by US and Mexican macros. The do have a decent selection Montana brews and a couple guest micro taps. Not a beer destination but a fine and friendly après ski bar. |
66 /100 Whiskey Jacks Big Sky (Restaurant) 1 LONE MOUNTAIN TRL Bar/restaurant right at the base of the ski lifts making it pretty much the default place for apres after a day of skiing. Not much in terms of style, but they have nice staff and some of the food offerings, like the loaded nachos, were fantastic. Beer selection is somewhat limited, but does feature plenty of Montana-brewed beers. Not a bad place to relax after a long day of skiing. |
68 /100 Choppers Grub & Pub (Restaurant) 77 LONE PEAK DR Typical bar and grille restaurant that’s nice and open with plenty of booths and tables along with a decent sized bar to sit at. Service was decent as was the food. Tap selection was the best I saw in town in terms of number of offerings. Many of the taps featured local brews, which is always nice. Not a bad place to go if you’re looking to try a number of different beers. |
60 /100 Country Market (Grocery Store) 66 MARKET PL One of only 3-4 places to buy beer to go in Big Sky. Selection is ok, make sure to check front cooler for singles. |
72 /100 Hungry Moose Market and Deli (Grocery Store) 209 ASPEN LEAF DR One of the few grocery stores in Big Sky. Best hours of any store. Ok selection. Lots of wine. And one hint on the food: get the smoked trout bagel! |
76 /100 Choppers Grub & Pub (Restaurant) 77 LONE PEAK DR By far the largest selection of beer at any restaurant in Big Sky. Food is pretty good, service not bad. Lots of whiskey and wine too. |
68 /100 The Cave Spirits & Gifts (Beer Store) 33 LONE PEAK DR, STE 102A Quirky mix of liquor, wine and Big Sky’s biggest selection of beer. Good selection of local Montana beers and some singles too. Also a gift shop for those "must have" Montana souvenirs. |
72 /100 Whiskey Jacks Big Sky (Restaurant) 1 LONE MOUNTAIN TRL In the northern part of big sky. Family friendly. Some decent locals on tap and bottles. Prices are good. Decent place. |
