“Fucking app screwed me again. I had a half hour to kill before Forest & Main opened, and this place was near and had a good app score. So. I get inside and its clearly a beer store. I see no wine or hard liquor anywhere. But as for beer, the vast majority of the space is allocated to the BMC macros, with some scattered craft stuff like Victory around as well. Importantly, everything is sold in cases. No six packs, no singles, no bombers, no 750s. I guess if you want a case of Prima Pils it may be cheaper here than elsewhere, but this is not a beer destination IMO. [Edit: I guess the case thing is some shitty state law, can’t really hold that against them.] Oh, and there is no outdoor patio. Previous reviewer is either smoking weed or it disappeared in the past four years. There is a fenced in area with a big rusty dumpster in the middle of it. Nice.“

“Been here several times for after work gatherings. Large place, very noisy, and with a nice huge beer list that represents all styles. Service was excellent, the food was above average, and this place was overall very good. The problem is this: With Capone’s so close, I cannot justify in any category going here.“

“Service seems to be improving here. Was almost impossible to flag a bartender down during Happy Hour or a busy Saturday night. Drink specials everyday and really great food. “

“A total surprise. This place has really turned it around in the last 3 years. Stopped in on Thursday, and found Port Mongo, Firestone Double Jack, Ballast Big Eye, and more, those are just the ones I had. It does turn into a frat party late night, but the selection is worth it.“

“Pretty good rotating selection of craft beers, but they’re unfortunately all served in cold pint glasses. Gets very crowded and turns into a college bar/club on weekends, but it’s great during off-peak hours or to watch a game on their many TVs. Service is very good considering how crowded it gets. Bartenders/waitresses are always very friendly and accommodating. Food is typical pub fare, but very good. The boneless wings are top notch. I hate the scene there, but it’s a great place to go with friends because they offer the solid microbrew menu to go along with the typical macros and liquor. Still, if you’re looking only for craft beer, go 5 minutes down 202 to Capones.“
