Prices are on par with most Wetherspoons, so cheap for most things, decent selection of real ale and the craft stuff and cider has been increased recently. Average pub grub, nowt exciting. Could do with another bathroom as I have seen queues on a weekend.“ |

One bar, kind of three inside drinking areas which are not really split, they just merge into each other. Usual beer selection with guests from all over the place, staff friendly and often over run, food OK, beer quality always been fine on my visits (several). Beginning to look a little grubby around the edges, but clean and tidy.“ |

I bought a load and will be back next time I visit my parents, huge selection of beers from countries that were behind the ’iron curtain’. If you are into different countries and lagers/pilsners this is a must visit place in town. Great food choices too.“ |

Two main rooms and a function place above, cask ales are the thing here with ten hand-pulls usually on, half Castle Rock, half guests from smaller breweries. I have been many times and thought it about time I added the place. Plush it isn’t, friendly it is.“ |
