“There is plenty of onsite parking here. The tap room is modern with clean lines, but what makes it is the great beer garden. It has lots of trees and shade and a laid back atmosphere where you can play corn hole & a few other games. There is also a large stage where presumably bands ocassionly perform. They have a large selection of craft beers on tap covering a wide variety of styles. I had the fabulous ‘Midnight Express’ Stout; 3rd best craft beer I had on a month long road trip around FL (from 66 tried!). Also the bar unusually for a brewery tap room, seems pretty well stocked with spirits, wine & cider. A must for the craft beer fan if in town.“

“Very spacious brewery taproom with a great beer garden. The staff knew the brews and was very helpful. The beer was very well made and with so many taps they had just about something for everyone. Well worth the stop if in the area.“

“This is a veteran owned and operated. While I support that it's not good to have a bartender that is stating she doesn't even like beer. The beer itself were okay, lots better in the area. Prices were reasonable and food was pretty good.“

“A nice divey type of a brewpub in Bradenton. Big dark Taproom with lots of TV for sports, over 20 taps of beers, rotating food truck (order to your waitress).. Visited for lunch on a busy Saturday so service was a bit slow but friendly. Beers were ok to excellent, especially their barleywine. Free popcorn and wifi. 2$ per 3 ounce Sampler so a bit expensive.“

“Visited on the way to Bradenton beach. Nice pub with good theme, big outdoor area right in downtown Bradenton. Sat at the bar, the lone waiter, Travis, manning the fort by himself did his best to maintain the ongoing flow of customers during lunch time. Confy bar, with even a lounge type room to watch motorsport from in nice leather sofas. Food options in the menu from surrounding businesses. Had the beer flights. Beers avail to go along with growlers. Fair prices.“

“Automotive themed in a dive bar atmosphere. A few gems and dozen average brews. Valet parking if you are into that.“

“Motorworks is probably the coolest brewery in the greater Sarasota area. The automotive theme is well done...the tasting room is large...and the outside patio both large and quite enjoyable in layout and looks (love the big tree with the lights and decks around it). Actually their website calls it Florida’s largest beer garden...and it is quite large. It helped also that the evening I visited they had live music outside too. As for the beer...there was a large selection and I hit most of them with a couple of flights. I find all of their beers at least good (nothing really is below average)...and several are very good. The hoppier beers are very good...but they also do some very fine Hefeweizen and Kolsch styles. I highly recommend a visit here when in the area...definitely a great place to go with a group too.“

“Modern and chic inside. Loads of nice seating outside, at the bar and throughout the inside area. Stage for live music. Two dart boards. Pinball machine and two video games, including latest version of Golden Tee. ATM available. Purse or umbrella hooks all along the 60+ foot long bar. Beer is solid. Five flat-screens behind bar and three on the opposite side of brewery seating area. Food truck food ordered and brought to me by my server. That was cool. Service is very attentive and friendly. Comprehensive tap and bottle selection.“

“Visited the brewpub on a Saturday afternoon, and it was very lively and busy. It had a large, modern indoor facility with a big bar and cigars for sale, with tons of outdoor seating along with several cornhole boards and a couple bocci ball courts. The service was very friendly and dedicated, and went out of their way to help, especially since it was very busy. They had a very good beer selection, with a mix of house, local, and national/international beers. My group ordered wings, and a taco and buffalo chicken appetizer, but none of the food was that good. The prices were fair and reasonable, and the menu clearly noted the specifications of the beers, including their serving size and vessel. Overall it was a fun brewery, and I would go back.“

“I didn’t spend much time there, but it seems like a great place, day or night, to have a few craft beers. The selection is pretty good, but as this is new brewery, the beers need to be better developed, but they are off to great start. I hope they make it, as they have a solid start.“

“Great building and facilities. Amble room. Tv’s, bocce and cornhole to occupy time. Descent house tapmselection. About 20 guest taps. Ok bottle selection. Food is served from surrounding eateries or food.truck. service was fairly good. Beer prices were fine. Swag prices were high. But, we are there for the beer.“

“Overall, a decent place to go visit. They have a number of their own taps available as well as many guest taps, so selection is not a problem. They have a giant outdoor patio space and are located near the ballpark. Good place to stop in for a beer.“

“A decent assortment of craft beers, and some nice locals too, including bombers and 750s. And everything is cold too, which is nice. Lots of booze too.“

“Nice beer store, had some good selection, they had the build your own 6-packs which was nice. I happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this one and then noticed they were every where in the tampa area but this is a good one. Good selection of craft beers and they had reasonable prices for the macros.“

“Not a bad stop at all. The store is packed with liquor, beer and wine. Cigar section in the back too if that’s your thing. A HUGE selection of liquor. The beer is all kept cold or at least I didn’t see anything else. They’ve got sixers, bombers, 750’s, and a pretty solid wide selection. DFH, Victory, Avery, Rogue, Flying Dog, Stone, Cigar City, just to name a few but they’ve got quite a bit more. Not the greatest beer store you’ll find (perhaps in the area though) but surely will have something to satisfy.“

“UPDATED 07/19/09: My favorite Pub that I’ve discovered in Florida! The "Roo" has a true small Pub feel since it is all brick and wood with peanut shells on the floor. There are 28 beers on taps and approx 70 bottles (both with a nice mix of Micros & Imports), and one cask engine. They also have a full liquor bar for the non beer lovers out there. A great place to watch the games on the weekend or mingle with the happy hour or late night crowd. Bartenders provide great service and you can even bring your carry-out food from "Fisherman Joe’s" across the street to eat at the bar. Opens @ noon on the weekends and 1pm during the week. Moving to a new location across the street once their lease is up 09/30/09. A must visit when in the Sarasota/Bradenton area!“

“A rather nice selection of craft beers, not to mention cigars and wine and liquor! A rather unassuming store and kind of a pain in the ass to get too if you are headed East bound, but definitely worth the stop! This might just be the best beer store in all of the Sarasota Bradenton area! Dogfish, Shipyard, Avery, Rogue, Flying Dog…. ext..“

“Updated 12/29/06: Beer selection is much better from when I originally rated on 1/28/06. They carry more of the DFH line along with North Coast, Flying Dog, Shipyard, Great Divide, etc. The owner’s have done a good job in improving their selection. Also, they listen to their customers. When they weren’t carrying some seasonal beers like DFH Punk’n Ale and GD Hibernation Ale they had it for me within a week. Nice addition to East Bradenton and the Lakewood Ranch area! Worth a stop!“

“I just moved to Bradenton from New York and just found this place. It has a great selection of beers Imports, Domestics, and Micro Brews. The staff is friendly and willing to help you. And if there is a beer that you want that they dont carry, and they do carry alot, the most I have ever seen in the area, they will order you any beer that you want by the case even if they dont carry it. They also sell kegs, and since they deal with most of the local distributers they can get many differnt kind of kegs. I know this is a beer site but, they also have a wide selection of scotch, vodkas and tequilas. Also they have more wine than i even knew they made. They got a whole room at a special temp. to keep the real good stuff. And on top of that they got a whole humidor full of cigars! If you are in the bradenton/sarasota area check them out there are right off of I75 exit 217 on SR 70east.“

“Last stop in florida this trip. Easy to find location and parking easy to find mid-day. Rico was behind the bar and he was very freindly and was quick to answer questions. Nice brick and wood bar with plenty of seating inside and on the street. I counted 24 taps and 1 engine plus a good selection of bottles. Had two brews for rating. Free peanuts. Nice place and well worth the visit.“

“Fun Aussie! bar. Tempting bottles on display show their long-term love affair with good beer. Free peanuts and mixed drinks so you can bring your non-beer loving friends! Atmosphere is a bit cold, but the place is on a quiet street in downtown area with lots of historic buildings around.“

“The Owner is Woody and his son is Robert, they are huge beer geeks! Woody and Robert will not allow any Bud products in their pub.. Awesome! Last night, 11/17/04 I enjoyed a draft pint of Fullers London Porter; they also have the ESB on hand pump beer engine. The Roo is a local’s hot spot, big happy hour crowd.. I enjoyed my short stay very much, & I’ll be back!! They also have a fat bottle selection!“
