66 /100 HARTS LANE Since I've visited this place has apparently had a refurbishment which aas probably due. The original pub building is quite small, with a rear extension then being used for dining. Whilst being a friendly village local iit is in a posh little village so was surprisingly shabby. A number of the other guests were walkers or cyclists from the clothes being worn. Booked a Sunday lunch here as it was a chance to tick off some Arkell's beer on the way home from a wedding. However I had enjoyed myself far too much at the wedding and stuck to cola. They have three Arkells cask beers on and the a few Keg options, which includes an Arkell's lager and then some standard macro options. The food was homely rather than gastro. One of the more southerly options for Arkell's ticks. |
