“Located in downtown Butler, ample street parking. Looks like a reimagined industrial building. Still retains some of the vibe, updated with soem modern fixtures and glass.Good service, prompt. Untappd list is not accurate, so get the paper taplist. A mish mash of styles, average quality.“

“This stand alone hot spot of a place is a pleasant find a little north of Butler on route 8. Its close to Butler's Clearview mall. Easy to find and lots of parking. Inside you can tell its brand new and well done for the décor. I would say there is much more eye candy here compared to Butler Brew Works & Reclamation which are in downtown Butler. Plenty of seating on and off bar at tables. Seems to be kid/family friendly as well. They had at least 9 of their beers on tap and had samplers of four for $8. Some guest taps as well. Bar food menu was good and it smelled so good in there. Overall nice beer tasting experience, help was excellent and the brewers were circulating around to talk to everybody about the brews looking for constructive criticism. Glad I stopped and will be back next time I'm in the area. Thanks recon & RB!“

“Been here a few times and enjoyed it each time. Hell I even enjoyed it when it was packed one weekend afternoon. Anyways the feel of the place is okay but it doesn’t hold a lot of ppl. The service has always been good to great. They come by when they are needed and at times before you even know you need/want something. The food has always been above standard to great. The cheese and meat that they carry is impressive compared to other breweries that I have been to. Their sandwiches are very good too. It’s better than your average bar food. The beer is always flavorful and drinkable. From time to time they will have something very interesting on their tap list. What is nice even if they don’t have something I am craving I will always stick around and enjoy their brews. The value is normal to better than normal for a craft brewery. Overall a great place to stop in and have a brew... that’s what it is all about.“

“On the street two-hour parking. Service was pretty good. Selection is limited to their drafts. Did it try the food. Pricing was going rate. If they had a beer I wanted try I would go back.“

“Free two-hour on the street parking. Reclaimed old bar. Service was fantastic including some free small samples. Nothing but their beers were on tap, but also available were PA liquors. Did not try the food. Pricing was lower than average, PA is typically high. I enjoyed most the beers I tried.“

“Original rating 12/2015: A very friendly place. The help could do anything for you. Nice selection of every kind of beer and they don’t taste the same, a common problem with many brewpubs. Yes, Nicely done considering the skinny property slices on main street butler. They were brewing beer the day I was there. A nice long hand hewn bar with many places to sit for a meal. Surprised there are not more ratings for this place. Old rustic country feel to this one, and the music matched. Decent sized flight of 4 is $9. Had a very nice beer tasting experience here. Added 12/2016: If you are in the area, check out Butler brewing, one block down the street, that’s a nice place as well. These 2 breweries make the town of Butler a beer tasting venue fer sure!“

“Free parking on the main drag of route 8 right in front of the place. Butler is such a friendly little community. Nice looking facade. Inside the front of this warehouse is sectioned off for a big long finished cement bar and many tables for dining. Nice open space with plenty of seats at the bar. Large windows to view the traffic on the main drag. Local older citizens in and out for lunch during my stay. I mention this because almost all of my other brewpub visits involve a majority of preppie young patrons. As an elder myself, this made me feel more at ease. Very nicely done. They had over 16 brews on tap today. Almost all were their own but they did have a few guest taps with some local meads and ciders. Service was terrific and friendly and he was informed about their beers. Pleasant conversation while tasting. Samplers are very affordable and so were the drafts. Overall great beer tasting experience. If you are in the area, check out Reclamation brewing, one block down the street, that’s a nice place as well. These 2 breweries make Butler a beer tasting venue fer sure!“

“Decent sized place in downtown Butler. Sat at the bar. Had a good crowd for a Monday dinner time. They had a beer menu, cocktail menu, food menu, and a daily food special menu. Seems like overkill but I digress. Had about 10 beers on tap. I had two which were okay, nothing too special but solid none the less. I did order a little food which was also okay, but nothing special. I guess, what I am trying to day, is this place is good for a few ticks maybe some grub.“

“Located on Main Street downtown. The brewing kegs were behind glass, while a 24 seat "industrial" bar is out front. High tables line the opposite wall. Our server was Steph, who was knowledgeable and friendly. A great help. The drawback here is the limited number of brews at this point. The strength is that even though they are traditional in their offerings, all are done exceptionally well. This place has a bright future.“

“A shotgun building with a 15 seat bar on one side, tables on the opposite wall. The servers/brewers were very attentive and ready to answer questions. The only issue would be 4 brew flight for $9.50. A bit higher than surrounding places. Overall, a good place that will only improve with experience.“

“We were looking for a brewpub near I-79 for our journey back to Virginia. We stopped at Reclamation for lunch. Our service was excellent with about 11 beers to choose from. The Double IPA was the best. The BLT was also good. This is a typical downtown brewpub. It opened last September. The promised land ale was also good. They have a long bar with tables on the side wall.“

“Great space in downtown Butler, with a lot of window front on Main Street - lots of light. Smaller seating area but well apportioned and nicely decorated. Cool cement bar, with views of the brewhouse. Service was friendly and prompt, and the limited selections while there were very good. Food was not yet available during my visit. I look forward to going back again.“

“Have visited twice now, once for lunch and once for some sampling. Great space in downtown Butler. Nicely decorated, though a bit dark overall since the only natural light is from the narrow front window. Service is friendly and prompt, they’re happy to let you sample something before committing, and are happy to answer any questions. Food is good and there are some interesting options. Beers so far are hit or miss, but overall a good selection in a wide variety of styles and creativity. Definitely worth a stop.“

“Around the corner from Gorillos. Decent selection of singles and they have a cooler for $10 mixed six packs. Tho I did not have the food, they have plenty of cheap fried finger food and fun sandwiches. I stopped in and purchased a nice selection of six.“

“As the two raters before me have stated; This is a beer diamond in the rough! First let me say that they have all the foods I like and its cheap; wings subs, pizza, fries, hot dogs, etc. Its in an old gas station with good parking. Everybody is friendly and the customers all had smiles on their faces. For beer, they had about 8 racks of singles, bombers and corked beer, quite a selection too! Not to mention the taps and sixpacks all around. They also have the cheap pale lager stuff too. I was impressed. I wasn’t expecting much from the look on the outside but I easily found a sixer of beers I never tasted before! Check it out if you are in the area, its right off route 68 in downtown butler. Prices are the best anywhere in this burgh area. Very good overall experience and I’m glad I saw it on ratebeer, otherwise I would have never known about it! Update 2015, still a great little cheap sixpack shop for mixed sixes.“

“Great secret in Butler. It is not a boutique or ritzy place, that wouldn’t fly in Butler. It is not a dive either! The service is impeccable. If they do not have it, they will try to get it. They will go through their store room to find something for you in the event they hadn’t put their stock away yet or they didn’t have the room for it yet. They will even breakk up a sixer so you can have one or two to try. - Just good peeps! - Best value I have found. They also cater to the regular beer crowd who can stroll in and find their macros to-go. Nice to see a place mixing that and it is working. (Not a snob-shop) Always have 3 brews on tap and a limited food menu. (The owner loves East End Black Strap - always on tap and one of the best stouts around) Keep it up, Gorillo!“

“I believe it was an old convenience store, and now it has the beer place on the left and a hot dog shop on the right. The pumps have been removed and there is a decent amount of parking. The late Friday afternoon crowd was moving through quickly, with just about everybody picking up 6- and 12-packs of light beers and macro lagers. A few were grabbing tall boys and 40s of malt liquor. OK, so what? Well - the gem of this place is the small selection of craft beers offered at rock bottom prices. Hoppin’ Frog, Victory, Bear Republic, Lagunitas, Voodoo, Chimay Bleu, Ommegang, etc. All priced very aggressively and some were several dollars cheaper than I’ve found in Pittsburgh or Indiana. In addition, he has three taps and fills growlers of Magic Hat, Shiner Bock, and East End Black Strap. In fact, a growler of Black Strap was going for $6.99!! That’s a few dollars cheaper than if you go to East End yourself. Mixed six-packs of craft beers are $9.99. Although you can sit and have a pint, it’s not the best place for ambiance unless you like watching some interesting people. They also have a short food menu. So, if you’re in Butler, this is the best place I’ve found yet to pick up some good beer at great prices.“
