80 /100 1496 OLD HOT SPRINGS ROAD Been her several times. Smallish place. Easy to get to. Service is very good. Tap selection is variable with usually something for every one. No food, but there is a restaurant next door that will bring it over. |
82 /100 302 N. CARSON STREET Nice place in downtown Carson. Several former brewers operated here. Great ambiance. Service was good. Several guest taps along with three of their own. Food is well made and tasty. Slightly upscale, but not too crazy. |
68 /100 1496 OLD HOT SPRINGS ROAD Cool little place in north Carson City. Cozy but well designed space has ample indoor and outdoor seating for the size, a couple games.
Service on the night we went was friendly enough, but slow. Took a bit to get our flight and a line had formed on a sleepy night while we waited. Decent diversity of styles with hops, light sours, and a couple dark beers. Nothing was great, nothing was hateful. Worth a stop if you’re in the area. |
78 /100 Red’s Old 395 Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 1055 CARSON ST Great place in south Carson City off the main drag. Been going there a loooooong time (they were the first NV establishment to host a Deschutes event - a fantastic beer dinner back in the day). Rustic cowboy bar atmosphere. Fantastic western homestyle food. Big portions and good prices. No flights last time I was in, but a good beer selection at a good price. Shuffleboard inside and pool outside. They can get pretty busy, but the service is usually solid. |
