Charged wrongly too for the beers. Wifi was good as always though. Only five casks available as they just doubled their hand pulls.“ |

Very friendly staff. Large beer garden with children’s play area. Castleford Tigers (Rugby League) stadium just across the street.“ |

Visited on 9th March on a busy Cas Tigers home game, 5 beers which are served from wooden casks via traditional handpull plus a selection of Samuel Smiths bottles.
Local beers featured and 2 on from Ridgeside and 2 from Elland. A great example of a tradtional local boozer. Worth a look in.“ |

Inside music plays and the decor is more bar than pub. It’s comfortable enough though and gets its fair share of business in an area geared up to commerce and entertainment. The bars ale selection isn’t as good as others in the chain but there’s a fair selection of ales available. There’s a patio area out front too.“ |
