“Large place with a barn-like feel. Lots of beer on tap, about 25, including slushies. Their fruit stuff is very good for what it is--that should be no surprise for those down with this trend. What was surprising is they make actual beer as well, and it's pretty good as well. I tried two flights, a mixture of beer slushies and real beer. They made a very competent, regular porter and some good West Coast IPAs. Too bad all they ever seem to distribute is the slushie stuff, because their other beer is pretty good. Service was friendly.“

“Stopped in as my last place for the night. Big, spacious facility, multiple levels, seating inside and out. Kind of quiet for a Saturday night, so distancing was not an issue. Attentive, friendly service. Good variety of taps, no flights, but half pours were available. Thought much better of this place than Zwanzig.“

“Place is bustling on a Saturday night. Unlike Zwanzigs, service is top notch, staff friendly and eager to serve. Live music. Flights available. Nice selection of taps. Food truck. Really like the vibe here.“

“Super busy on a Friday night, and the service was suffering for it. Ordered and paid for a beer and had to wait more than 5 minutes for it to poured. COVID rules not in effect, lots of tables back to back. Beer was good, but I'm not getting positive vibes here. And the floor shakes like an earthquake every time someone walks by.“

“was on my way to Indianapolis with the fam leaving from Cincinnati. I said that I know of a good spot off of I-74. I was thinking of the other taproom and ended up here, much closer to I-65 than I was intending. Pleasant surprise. decent selection. has wifi, decent parking, and a winery on site. food was good. service was friendly. lots of "slushy" beers and IPAs. kids and wife were amazed by how much corn surrounded this place.“

“Open and inviting, clean but not sterile, a good place to drop in for a crater or two and perhaps lunch or dinner. I was passing through Indiana when I stopped in Columbus, and am glad I selected the Pump House to visit. I didn't get a chance to try many beers, but enjoyed what I selected and bought some more to take home. The bartender made me feel welcome without being overly friendly. I had just one appetizer, but it was tasty. If ever I am in that area again I will stop here again and try more beers.“

“Old house made into a restaurant. Small bar off to the right as you walk in. Decent selection of local and other craft beers. Good place for a meal.“

“Located on the edge of town in a historic local building right on the river (I’ve passed by this building thousands of times but had never been inside until today). Large dining area with outdoor seating as well. Lots of taps - Upland’s regulars, special, as well as some sours. Menu with primarily standard brewpub food - not bad but a bit under-seasoned. Have a good selection of their beers available for carryout in cans/bottles as well (had a couple bottles of Persimmon Lambic available on my visit). A very pleasant place - will be a much more convenient Upland stop for those passing through Indiana (only a couple miles off I-65). And I think I can say without fear of contradiction that this brewpub has by far the finest electrical work I’ve have ever seen anywhere on the planet.“

“Pizza place. We had already eaten, so I can’t judge the pies. Large selection of beers, though, and all were solid. Ghost pepper stout was the highlight. Worth a look.“

“ZwanzigZ is an attractive place with very pleasant, helpful staff. There is a generous selection of house brews that cover the spectrum and rotate frequently. I can’t say that I enjoyed all the beers I sampled, but most ranged from interesting to good. Worth a stop.“

“Just kind of an average all around joint. It’s a small, store-front type bar with a friendly enough staff - not necessarily the most knowledgeable. The food was pretty good - a bit better than i expected, and of course, it was very affordable - the joys of being away from an urban area. I definitely recommend their Diesel Oil Stout, although they also have a decent selection of guest taps to select from.“

“Restaurant and bar in Columbus, created from an old, old house that was once a flower and frame shop....It still retains the "home" feel, with disjointed rooms and décor, fireplace. Food is really above par and priced about the same or less than chain establishments...wait staff that I have had are very friendly and attentive and chatty....service is prompt...beer selection is really pretty good for a small town, stand alone spot...rotating taps of Indiana beers and others.....also the regular domestic and "corporate craft" selections...you can usually find a good beer, even if it’s not a new rate....some surprises occasionally from Sun King and others....well worth a visit.“

“This is an order-at-the-counter establishment that has average to sub-par home-brewed beer. Food is average, service is efficient, but not exactly friendly, overall experience is very good, not great.“

“Stopped in while passing through Columbus and was glad I did. The atmosphere was nice, as was the service. Selection was solid (and they also make their own wine) and the beer was good. I didn’t eat, but they had a nice-looking menu. Value was good, and on Sundays and Tuesdays pints (which are normally $4.50) are $3. Growlers are only $8 too. I’ll definitely be back, and plan to eat next time. UPDATE: These guys are continuing to grow, and are making the best (NE) IPAs in the state. Awesome pizza too. A must-stop if you're in the area.“

“Stopped in for lunch and a beer while traveling through town. Food was solid, and e service was okay. It’s not the most pleasant atmosphere, but it wasn’t bad. The selection was decent, but nothing special, and their draft chalk board wasn’t current. Employees eating at the bar with me while I was there... Food was priced well, but the beers were overpriced. Glad I stopped by to check it out, but I’m not sure if I’ll be back.“

“Stopped in while passing through Columbus and was glad I did. The ambiance was good and the service was great; the bartender wasn’t stingy with the samples. We sat at the bar and didn’t eat, but it’s apparently a pizza place. Selection was good, as was tthe quality. I can’t speak on the food, but the rest was nice.“

“This is an unassuming place near the heart of downtown. Services can be spotty but the local selection of beers makes it worth a visit if you want a break on the drive between Indianapolis and Louisville. The house beers were not amazing but still drinkable. Throw in some taps from the Indianapolis area and you have a place worth visiting once.“

“Zwanzigz is in a relatively quiet section of Columbus, away from many of the downtown shops, but still close enough to hop down there if one chooses. Inside is clean, new interior that is "mission style" (according to my wife who cares about such things much more than I do). Service is... icy. To be fair, two girls were working the counter, and one seemed friendly, but the other was quite short in her replies, didn’t seem pleased to be there, and answered "hmm" when I said that the beer was very good. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but as a first time customer, it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Personally, I am also not a fan of the pay-first, no wait staff approach. If my son didn’t spill his water, I wouldn’t have been talked to by anyone working there after I paid for my order shortly after coming in. The beers were all very good, and some were exceptional. The beer menu is varied and well priced. The food was pretty greasy, and seemed a bit like the stuff you’d order on a Friday night from the comfort of your dorm room- Dominos is probably better. And- no kids menu? It’s good to know that people don’t have kids anymore, so that you don’t need a kids menu with a few simple items. Oh, wait... That being said, food was well priced at least. If not for the thoughtfully crafted beer, I’d scroll past.“

“i will always love this place. the service is typically lacking (think: get it yourself), but the food has gotten MUCH better and the beer, as always, is stellar. i wish they would put prices next to their brews (you can never tell when you’ve ordered an 8 dollar pint). can’t wait for these dudes to expand and take over the world.“

“this place is just okay. the pizza is dreadful (sorry guys), but the brew is something else entirely. these folks are not afraid to experiment and drop the coin on the best ingredients (for their beer. again, the pizza sucks). try the Chocolate "Golden Ticket" or the Sweet Stout.“

“Newly opened brewpub at a well-established local winery. Ambitious start with 5 different beers but their wines are also available. Food is okay - have wood-fired pizza ovens. Beers were all solid. Another great addition to the local brewing scene.“

“Nice rural setting, good menu, currently 5 beers available with more coming soon. Pleasant, attentive staff.... Atmosphere is fairly open and airy with attractive, minimal decor....small, yet comfortable dining area adjacent to wine shop. A very nice new spot and a welcome addition to the region. Look forward to watching (and helping) it grow and mature.“

“When entering Columbus bar, I was struck by the mixture of the old and the new; it seems that much of the architecture of years past remains, but the space doesn’t feel exceedingly old, either. If anything, it feels rather comfortable. Service was prompt, knowledgeable, and patient (I can be a pain in the ass at times). The tap selection went from local, to regional to the commonplace- They only had two of their beers available, which is understandable per demand, but Stella, Boddingtons and Guinness? Perhaps they try to make their appeal broad, which I can’t fault. Before we got our meals, we had a beer cheese pretzel, which was very fresh and tasty. I noticed people coming in from the community and not ordering beer- they came for the food. The food was very good, indeed- burgers served on texas toast, which worked very well. My wife had an excellent Reuben and my son’s chicken fingers were a tad crispy for him, but also quite good. All the food was very fairly priced, but I thought the beer sampler, which was two bucks a sample, was steep even for Louisville standards. Still, this place has much to be proud of, and I hope they continue to improve in the future; I will be back.“

“Great to see another brewer in Columbus. Have nice pizza and sandwich menu - reasonably priced. You have to order your food at the counter but wait staff will bring it to your table. Have a separate bar section if you just want beer and a small selection of bottled beer (a couple of Bells and several macros). For a new brewpub, they are doing it right. The beers I had were all solid. Have been known for their pizza for many years - great to see them brewing.“

“I came away from this place hoping that the locals appreciate what they have. Yes, a small, cramped area, but friendly and knowledgable staff, good food and good beer more than make up for it. They have about ten taps not their own, and this include ones from Three Floyds, Founders, and Upland. I think five selections of their own while I was there, and of the three I had, two were excellent and other was above average. Presumably the best beer bar in a 50 mile radius (?). I will be back.“

“For the Brown County area, this has an outstanding selection. Expect to find Bells, Three Floyds, Founders, Tyranena, and regionals like New Albanian, Sun King, Upland, etc. They also have a mix a six section. Worth a stop and not very far off exit 68.“

“Street parking in front and lot parking. Clean older building with brewing in the front and bar in center with tables for food and beverages. Sixteen Indiana standards with one Powerhouse on tap. All were drinkable brews. Freindly bartender with good knowledge of brews. The menu had starters and sandwichs. Nice bike ride location and I will stop again.“

“We had only a short time to stop by this bar before heading to a meeting but I am so glad we did. Very old feel to the interior - high ceilings, long shotgun style restaurant. The atmosphere is kind of dumpy, but in a good way. A real nice neighborhood tavern thing going on. The tap list was short but interesting. A couple beer from the Brugge Brasserie caught my eye as well as Founders Devil Dancer and Stone RIS. A respectable bottle collection took up three shelves of the corner cooler as well. The most interesting thing about this bar is the small brewery setup in the front window (formally known as Power House Brewing). A mash tun, small conical fermenter and two conditioning tanks were crammed into a five foot section in the front of the building. The waitress wasn’t sure of the batch sizes, but judging by the conical I would say that is a 21 gallon operation. She said that they are able to condition two beers at once, but they only had one on tap when we visted. The milk stout was very well made and respectable. This bar is worth a stop if you are travelling I-65 between Indy and Louisville and you want to pull off for a nice pint and a good sandwich.“

“A Columbus landmark. Used to be a BMC bastion but now the best place to get a nice pint. The best place to get quality beer from tap in the area. Some great regional food. They continue to make good quality beers - I have yet to be disappointed. Also keeps some nice guest taps. Usually pretty quiet - guess the BMC crowd prefers the bar next door. Definitely a must stop if in the area - hopefully they will have a long life.“

“Not a bad spot. Ambiance is rather clean, simple. Booths and a bar. Service-wise, the staff was very helpful, however, often the more oddball beers weren’t available. The menus could use updating. Selection is pretty decent. Approximately 4-5 beers were on Nitro tap, which made for a fun change of pace. Food was burgers and chips. Nothing crazy, however their Fried Green Tomato sandwich was good. Not a bad spot. They recently started into brewing their own beer. Decent selection and moderately priced.“

“At 3502 W Two Mile House Road. Many Cork locations throughout Columbus but this is the best and by far the easiest to reach (just west of I-65 off Exit 68). Has a nice selection of imports but a great selection of locals micros including many 3F beers (even had Behemoth, Rabid Rabbit, and Dreadnaught when I was there), Bells and others. The best bet between Indianapolis and Louisville to get 3F beers and simple to find. Worth a stop if you’re on 65. No Sunday sales.“
