“I just visited again about a week ago and they had 3 beers that weren't there on my previous visits...I wanted to write this update because my earlier review was good except I wanted to see growth in their beer making...well I can definitely say I see that with these 3 beers...NJ NEIPA Milkshake, E. Jersey NEIPA, and Oh Say Can You Hazy Pale Ale...all 3 were good...but the second two of these were very good. Here's the original review: Denville's first brewery (my hometown!). I visited on opening day...and several times since...so this review is a mix of several visits. They have a cool revolutionary war theme. The place is run by 3 brothers...which is kinda neat...as it seems they all get along...lol! The brewery is up front...and you can see it thru the windows outside and from the taproom inside. The taproom is small but adequate. They had 6 beers the first couple of times I visited but are now pouring 8. The red ale is very good (not even a style I usually like...but they've done a good job of not making it too malty). I like the IPA and pale ale too. I haven't gotten a chance to try the new NEIPA yet but hope to this week. There is no question that the beers have been improving since opening day...so they are on a good trajectory. I will update this review as I try more of their new beers to see how they are growing. Definitely check them out if in the area.“

“Local and convenient...nice people...good service...but really nothing special about their small selection of craftbeers (and other products). In fact for me at least...this place is simply about convenience only...for a better selection I recommend Denville liquors...but they are also too expensive...for a huge selection and great price you have to be willing to drive to either Bottle King in Morris Plains or Liquor Outlet Wine Cellars in Boonton(who have the best craftbeer selection in north NJ by the way).“

“Great local sushi and hibachi place that expanded their craftbeer offerings in the past two years. They have the Benihana hibachi tables, fountains, outdoor patio by the river, and a lounge area up front. There are now 12 taps of which only one is usually a macro...and that is Kirin Icihban (required at a Japanese restaurant). Recent offerings from a Stone tap takeover included 12th Anniversary Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout, Cali-Belgique, Enjoy by 5-30-16 Tangerine IPA, Farking Wheaton W00tstout, Pataskala Red, and Old Guardian Barley Wine (plus 4 other Stone beers)...not bad for a local Japanese sushi place! Maybe not the place to drive out of your way to get craftbeer at...but definitely the best place in a pretty large geographic circle to get sushi and some very fine craftbeer.“

“This place has been expanding their craft beer offerings for some time, and now can be counted on for most of the best day to day craft beer (not really a place to get one off’s and hard to finds though). This includes their cold beer cases too. All in all a nice effort from a small local liquor store.“

“Very small store. Not a lot of selection mainly due to size. Helpful staff, but some are definitely more knowledgeable than others. Not a lot of craft beer selection but what they do have I had a harder time finding at larger stores. Decent prices and convenient to get in and out of.“
