“A pub of two halves. The cottage entrance side, which is the lower part of the hotel is a very cosy space with a low ceiling and exposed stonework serving five cask ales with an all Welsh selection, albeit all regulars from local brewers including Conwy and Purple Moose. An entrance at the side of the hotel from the road leads to a social club type setting with a big screen for sport and is certainly the ’locals’ part of the establishment, although you can drink and dine in any part. There’s some nice outdoor space here too, notably the tables outside the courtyard cottage entrance.“
