“My local beer distributor. Great selection, especially in craft beer. They do get in some rares stuff too. Employees are great and helpful. They have soda, snacks and macrobrews too. Prices are good.“

“Big taproom/bar in the basement. Had a few beers on tap with friends. Beers weren’t that great. Didn’t get a chance to try the food though. Ambiance and service was nice though. Big crowd as well.“

“Long bar with an old fashioned feel .... Bartender was nice to look at and friendly .... Not a crowded lunch for a Friday ... Sports bar so lots of tv’s and a decent small but well rounded tap list .... Menu has soups salads sandwiches and flatbreads etc. and was tasty ..... The bottle list is well rounded with lots of choices and some rarities but those were way pricier than the norm.... Decent spot easy access and all in all not a bad place to visit“

“In the basement - cool looking place. Food from the upstairs restaurant (but ordered through the bar - nice cooperation between businesses!). 10 beers on tap. Came at an off time and had the bar almost all to myself.“

“I thought the vibe here was a little bit more craft beer friendly than down the street at Stephanie’s, but it wasn’t worlds better. The bottle prices are crushing. They have a great craft beer happy hour. I’ve forgotten what is was exactly, but I remember it being a good deal. Lots and lots of cans. Mostly a focus on regional micros and California stuff. Lots of hops on the menu too.“

“Stopped in for a beer and had an old Pilsner Urquell and a decent Chimay White on tap. The bartender was fine, if using his phone too much. The atmosphere is pretty sports bar heavy and the beer menu is a little light on creativity, but I appreciate the Belgian bent. Like all of Doylestown’s beer bar options, this one’s just okay. Prices seemed a bit high.“

“The standard warehouse fare of most of PA’s distributors. Absolutely well stocked with domestic, import, micros, cigars and a non alchoholic drinks by the case or bottle. A small section of munchies. A helpful staff and some high dollar seasonals at times.“

“Though there was a wide array of micros, very few were local despite the time of year when the big seasonals abound. You’ll need your smartphone ratebeer app to wade through the beer list. While it was good to try a few out of the ordinary brews it was odd not being able to finish with an old friend, as in a local favorite. Be cautious of the second floor bar, the edges are beveled in such a way your beer will fall to the floor if you place it near the edge......two glasses fell while we were there, a true waste.“

“Not a lot on tap but over 100 bottles of craft beer. The restaurant closes fairly early but the bar stays open later. The bar is fairly cramped but there seems to be a fair number of hotties out for a Thursday night.“

“Small little bar. Has a really good selection both on draft and in bottles. I’ve never been here and found an insanely rare brew, but I’ve always seen a really solid list of great, more common beers. Service is a little slow since the bartenders often have to physically check the coolers to see if they have what you’ve ordered, but they still try very hard. It can be pretty crowded at times, and air conditioning can be a big problem. A few televisions line the wall but sports aren’t the main focus of Mesquito. On the outskirts of Doylestown, its doesn’t get as much heavy traffic as other bars, but still feels maintains a lively crowd.“

“Please note I haven’t been to the take-away shop that is next door, this is strictly the draft room. About 36 taps on hand at any given time. I’ve seen them get Russian River and Port Brewing on hand as well as a good deal of foreign and domestic seasonals. They break down the beers into styles and nationalities in the draft list, which is helpful. Pints are on the expensive side ($8 or so) but the selection makes up for it. You aren’t allowed to purchase from the take away shop and open it in the bar area, unlike other establishments. Lots of televisions as it is a sports bar, and late nights can get pretty boisterous. A good place to keep updated on what’s in stock/on draft.“

“Small place with a long bar and some seating on the left side .... a couple of big screens just above the bar .... the food was good they have a good selection of burgers and paninis that aren’t too bad on price .... they have tons of taps over 30, but most were kicked ..... the prices for the beer were a rip off 8-9 dollars for the high end micro’s? (not included during happy hour either!) I paid it only because it was for pliny the elder, kentucky breakfast stout, blind pig and port mongo... The service was good, but the cook was slow .... i’d definitely stop in and check this place out just bring lots of money“

“A real good resturant. Great food, and a wonderful beer list. Many of the beers are on tap. I like the style. It is a very nice place to go to dinner with friends and drink some good beer.“

“The beer menu is so exciting because although I’ve seen bigger menus, they go for quality over quantity. There’s no beer on the menu here that I have tried and didn’t like. Prices are decent, and as others have mentioned, the world beer tour is a neat feature. The wings were pretty good, too, but not the best in the area. Fits very well in Doylestown.“

“Owners and staff make this establishment a pleasure to be in. These people really know their beer. They are working on adding their own micro brewery and will have over 300 beers soon. No wonder they have a club and VIP Card called Beer Geeks“

“The food is great. The beer selection is the best in the immediate area. The monthly "World Beer Tour" is fun, good food specials paired with great beer selections from different countries makes it worth coming back often. The bar tenders are knowledgable & always welcoming. The new 58" TV makes it my favorite place for Eagles games!“

“Great spot in an old school neighborhood. Food was decent. The nachos were messy but good. Had a salad too which was just what I needed. Service was a little slow at a couple spots but the poor girl had to keep running up stairs to help us. Great bottle selection to go and a couple of good taps to try as well. Bottles included a variety of Rogue, Unibroue, Ayinger, Victory, Allagash, and River Horse products. The rest of the food reminids me of a sports bar with sammies, wings, etc.“

“I’ve stopped here a few times and always found the selection pretty good and the prices as good as any distributor in Bucks County and beyond. They seem to be 5-10% cheaper than competitors and still manage to have a pretty good selection. Weyerbacher is not too far away and I’ve always found they have the best prices on their seasonals. My wife works a few blocks away at a non-profit organization dedicated to combatting drugs and alcohol - I stop at B&B and fight the good fight!“

“This place has been around for YEARS. Andy the son has it now and he has branched out considerably. Above average selection of Belgians some Germans I haven’t seen, Strong on the Micro’s! Saw a sampler from Abita there once. I "Test Drive" the singles at Candlewyck then drive the 5 miles up to B & B and get my favorites by the case. Great staff, the worst guy is conpetent. It’s PA so if you like a beer enough to buy a case this is a good place“

“Been here many times to either pick up a bottle from their 4 coolers of singles or for a great/rare beer on draft. Had on draft here in the past McChouffee, Imperial Pumpkin, Hobgoblin, also some nice belgians. The food is great, especially their wings. Service can sometimes be subpar, I’ve waited at the bar for over 5 minutes one time, But most times have been great. The owner/guy who orders the beers has always been helpful has even told me to call anytime to ask for him on availability. They have some nice Belgians available in singles and have even found some Heavyweights. Worth the trip if near the area.“
