68 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Definitely an above average beer distributor for Nassau County; although it has gone down hill over the years with the selections. Staff is accommodating and enthusiastic about craft beers. When you walk in there are two sections divided for macro and micro brews.
The worst part about this place is the damn parking. I usually have park at least a block away, depending on the time of day. |
66 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Business trip had me on Long Island. Beverage Barn was close to the hotel, and website listed beers in stock and any specials. Micro, import and macro beers. Locals beers were represented and the employees were friendly enough. Bonus they fill growlers and had glassware for sale. |
74 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Pretty standard selection of bottles. Mostly fresh and a lot of seasonals. Moderate selection of European beers as well. Nice find. |
72 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Very friendly employees. Great return policy. Great craft selection and solid prices. |
64 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Nice little hole in the wall bottle shop in the hometown of my good friends Jesse and Weber. Had an okay selection when I was in there, pretty much every Southern Tier, Ommegang, Dogfish Head, some Belgian beers as well. The prices were pretty damn reasonable to an Oregonian visiting a far more expensive beer state. Best of all, I picked up the beer named as Hoptimus Prime here! |
62 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Decent enough place. Superior to most other stores in a 5 mile radius. They’re pretty good with service, and I find a good deal of craft beers here. Most of the well known German beers, many NYS brewers, Unibroue, Great Divide, Allagash, etc. Not bad. Decent prices comaparitively speaking. |
62 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Not high on the totem pole of LI beer stores but obviously better than the average. They all the regular craft everyone carries but i never see anything special. Its not cheaper than the rest either. It is big though, stop by only if the top beer stores are too far for you to travel to. |
64 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET A great place to start when your just getting into beer, at least it is for me. They have a nice wide selection of beers, and nicely priced. |
76 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Located very close to a friend and fellow ratebeerian, so we go there often. Plenty of good stuff here but you have to judge it for what it is: a distributor. Beer is stacked in cases as high as you can see on every wall. One section is shelved according to country of origin. Good selection if you are just starting out, but I could see people getting bored of it after a while. They usually seem understaffed with at most 3 people working, but their target audience seems to know what it wants before walking in, so it doesn’t matter too much.brbr
As I go there more and more often I realize just how often they change their stock. Even still, their best beers include a few Rocheforts in the fridge and then brewers such as Stone or the semi-common oddity from Dogfish Head. Not worth going out of your way, but this store is very convenient for me.
Update: They just added a Growler fill station. 6 taps. I don’t know the price off hand. Their first round contained a bunch of Sixpoint. |
58 /100 Beverage Barn Warehouse Outlet (Beer Store) 2080 FRONT STREET Not far from Shoreline Beverage, this place is good for stuff like Victory, DFH, Brooklym, Weyerbacher and the like. I’m adding this because I always forget the address. |
