“Visited with a coleague on a friday evening when they finaly open the doors at 18:00. Located in a nice old building close to the square. Nice sitting places both innside and outside, we did not stay out due to the cold and rain. The taplist was nice spread among 10 taps downstairs and 4 upstairs with good spread selection including about 20 bottles as well. (happy not the standard tap list). The service was great. Sadly when I left on a friday evening around 23:00 there was only one more table in use. That is to bad this place is by far the best craft beer bar in Egersund now. Visited 24.03.2023.“

“Visited with my family when we needed a short break from the crowded Christmas Market in Egersund. This pub is in an old wooden building not far from the main square. Nice covered patio. Decent tap list but I guess they do not often rotate. Egersund is a small town and this place has rather limited opening times. Rather noisy acoustics inside when it was crowded. Still by far the best craft beer bar in Egersund since Mungåt closed down. (Visited Desember 3rd 2022 with my family)“

“Slightly bigger store now, located opposite the Town Hall. 160 beers in stock, and a few ciders. I stopped really by just to get a new place rating, but came out with NOK 2000 worth of beers, most of them previously unrated by me, many of them were Christmas / Yule beers, as expected. Friendly staff.“

“Brewery tours only available for groups by appointment, but if you have the opportunity to join a tour there, you should take it. As they are now also a distillery, you might even sample one or two spirits.“

“Easy to find brewery shop for the Berentsen brewery just outside city center. They have all the regular Berentsen beers below 4,7% and a few other beers from breweries like Nøgne Ø, Ægir, 7-Fjell and a couple British beers. Opening times are good as they opens early and closes 8 PM on week days and a bit earlier Saturday. Well, not much more to say really besides that I think they used to have a wider selection of beers from other breweries previously based on older ratings here.“

“Nothing here worth writing home about. A small selection of Norwegian craft beers, but Berentsen (the local brewery) is sadly underrepresented.“

“Been here for brewery tours several times, combined with a beer tasting/food event at "Bryggerstova", a traditional decorated pub with a open fireplace, several big tables, some small seating groups and a long bar. Presentations of beers are held here, 3-4 beers on tap,with a solid bottle selection from the brewers selection.“

“This was a let down. Hardly 60 bottles which is for sure a pitiful beer selection. Beer geeks in Egersund (if there are anyone...) deserves better! (Visited August 29th 2015)“

“A beer store for locals. Not worth a detour since they do not have beers you can not find elsewhere in Southern Rogaland. Berentsens beers are widely spread in local supermarkets. Some bottles from England/Scotland and of course Nøgne Ø and Ægir. (Vistited May 12th 2012)“

“As mentioned earlier, the Norwegian laws do not allow beers over 4.7% in common stores, so the selection is naturally quite limited. But they make the best of it, have a pretty good selection of norwegian microbrewery beer and larger brewery beer. Although they can not legally have anything on sale, the christmas beer was spectacularly cheap after christmas. Totally worth a visit if you are in the Stavanger area as well.“

“As they are only allowed to sell beers with less than 4,7% abv, Berentsen offers a good selection of norwegian and a smaller selection of import beer. Great place to find hard-to-get beers.“

“30.07.2010. Deasant beerstore in Egersund. The selection is usually better than it was on the 30. of july. I got Adnams Gunhill and The bitter, but they did not have the beers from Berentsen that I was looking for. Helpful girl behind the counter.“

“When in Egersund, this is the place to visit. Good selection for a Norwegian store, including some foreign beers and some hard to find Norwegians. Nice staff, knowing what they got, but not very knowledgable about beer in general.“

“Beer store at the Berentsens brewery -but they have beers from further afield too - most Norwegian breweries, including Nøgne Ø, are represented, and they also have some British b/c and non-b/c ales.“
