50 /100 Joe Canal’s - Egg Harbor (Beer Store) 3119 FIRE RD Won’t go into why I was here, suffice it to say that I was though. Nondescript liquor warehouse about 15min outside of Atlantic City. Fairly large wall of local singles where you can mix your own six. There were at least 12 I hadn’t seen before or didn’t recognize. A few shelves of 22oz/750ml bottles and a fairly long aisle cooler with six packs. Quality is good and there are a few local oddities that would catch any hunter’s eye. Prices were good, better than my local shops. If you find yourself out this way, stop in and mix a six of locals for yourself. |
90 /100 The Avenue Cafe (Restaurant) 151 PHILADELPHIA AVE They specialize in Local Craft Beers . Almost all the beers are within a 120 mile radius, one exception. They said they plan on adding more local taps. The food was fantastic. The taped brews during my visit were from Carton, Climax, Flying Fish, Kane, Tuckahoe, and Victory. |
