“Another supermarket added on ratebeer.. Why do people keep entering them? DO they even meet the criteria to be entered here? If you’re stuck in Ekeren, and in need of a good beer, go to art=choc, they will prob have better beer than here. if you want a nearby bottleshop, travel to wijnegem ( wijnegemse drankenhal ) No point having this on here..“

“For Ekeren standards, this is thé shit. rotating tap, and a few bottles not sold in supermarkets. Known by youth, since it’s decently priced and open late. TO beergeeks, I would call this thing a joke. No clue why this is on ratebeer. it’s decent for what it is, I agree, but I don’t see anyone traveling to Ekeren to try a certain chapeau, or a rochefort 10 . Pretty sure some of the staff never tried a high-fermented beer in their life as well. So yeah.. if you found yourself stuck at Ekeren, this is the place to go to. If not, I wouldn’t bother to travel to this village.“

“a place that quite left its ;eaning on ratebeer . they stopped doing special beers and got back to the inbev-based menu . Food is nice, but not concistent due to many switches in the staff . service is very depending on who works . Interior is noce though . Overall , not bad as a tavern, but kinda lost its meaning on RB“

“Het Distict is located about 20 min. or so by public transport from the centre of Antwerp with a bustop very close to the establishment. Do mind that the busses appear to run only once an hour. It is a more slightly upscale restaurant that has recently expanded their beer menu thanks to Kraddel on RB who works here. The beer menu is not extravagant but certainly well-balanced & well-build ranging from the more usual suspects like Duvel, La Chouffe to more interesting choices like Belle-Fluer or Triporteur from Heaven plus the likes of 3F Gueze, Cantillon Kriek and Tsjeeses. Nothing too rare and maybe not much new if you are more into Belgian beers but definitely solid and most options will go well with food. Kraddel was certainly a competent server, he is also open to IP trades here and maybe opening something that is off-menu for you if asked in advance. He is trying to promote the idea of fine dining with fine beer which is certainly not a bad cause and one that many would agree with on here. Wine list appears to be significantly more extensive but that is less my thing. Whisky list is less my forte as well, seems like nothing to rare but fine more standard choices. Main courses are around 25 euro and look quite delicious. I had a crème brûlée here which was delicious. If you are looking something in the medium price-range, eating here with a couple of beers might be quite swell. This is a respectable list, maybe bit less of a forte to the more ticking part of RB. There are always trades to be had here etc. The prices for beer are certainly fair and what one should expect to encounter elsewhere.“
