“Swung by on a Saturday evening, family friendly, spacious. ~14 of their own taps, rather hit and miss, one big miss, two medium hits. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here, but perfectly decent place, reserve the right to revisit my rating as it's a rare day when mcberko and I rate something the same.“

“Perfectly acceptable bottle shop in downtown Everett, decent selection of northern Washington stuff, decent draft selection, but not a place I found anything too scarce. Just a perfectly acceptable little bottle shop with ~20 PNW drafts.“

“Space is starting to feel a bit run down in the endless strip mall that is this part of Everett. Beers were solid - weighted towards IPAs, nothing a huge standout but nothing offensive either. Fine if you're in the area, not worth going out of your way for (my sense is that this sums up Everett generally). Sweet husky though.“

“They were closing up at 10pm on a Friday, which was an hour earlier than what's been posted publicly, so I didn't like that. I was happy they poured me a flight but I felt rushed. Beers were whacky in concept but execution was just ok. A worthwhile stop I assume, and one I'd probably like to do with more time.“

“Warehouse-style brewery space, but really low key. Felt like a someone's basement, and I guess that was more on the service, clientele and beers, all of which came across as homey, laid back and semi-pro. I was kind of surprised; they've been around a while. The beers were weaker than expected, and I guess that is my biggest point of issue.“

“Been here a couple of times. Sort of a smallish taproom, but never too busy. Decent service. Good variety of beers, maybe more adventurous than some other nearby breweries. Overall one of the better stops in Everett.“

“Phone ahead before coming here. The place is located in the alley in a little garage, which was closed when I drove by. So I called and the guy opened up. You can sample the available meads there at no charge (4 available when I went). The guy behind the operation is very friendly and passionate about the product. Not the best mead I’ve had, but it was solid and interesting. Worth a stop when in Everett.“

“Strip mall location didn’t get my hopes up but it was a very pleasant space, well put together. Cozy, modern industrial space. Digital tap list, decent selection of styles. Some better than others. Tasters available. Nice place to watch a game I presume.“

“Located in the back of a strip mall alleyway, there are sandwich boards near the main road to grab your attention. Nice little outside beer garden with a fairly small interior. You can flights of 4 for $5, a great deal. But they’re served in small, shitty mason jars - get some better glassware. Super friendly people. The beers are okay - each one seems to have some type of fruit or adjunct in them, some of which are done really well, others not so much. Worth a stop when in Everett.“

“About 10 minutes from the centre, this place is located right by the water with lots of boats / docks. Located in a big building, the restaurant is quite big with a small bar area. About 10 beers on tap when I visited, all of which are available in single tasters for a great deal. Beer itself isn’t great, but the service is friendly and the place itself is very comfy. Worth a stop if in Everett.“

“As of this writing, these guys have not even been open a year, but you’d never guess it. They have the taproom and the bar dialed up just how they want it, they have some other interesting stuff going on, and they’re doing great stuff in the brewhouse already. If you haven’t been in yet, you’re already late. I know I was.

They’re in one of the many strip malls along Everett Mall Way. Actually, if there’s anything along this street that is NOT in a strip mall, that’s more noteworthy, so let’s just say they’re here--and you’ll intuitively know what kind of construction houses them.

There’s a decent amount of parking, and there are quite a few places nearby where you can get your grubby mitts on decent takeout food. This matters, because you can bring outside food into CBC to have with your beer. Quite convenient.

They have a little patio out front, with some tables made out of old oaken barrels. They added real tabletops, though, don’t worry. Plenty of room for your grub, your pints, your naked lady playing cards, whatever you need a table for, there’s room.

They have plenty of big flatscreens on the wall, usually tuned to the game. There’s a projection screen on one wall that’s positively YUGE. They have music in the background, usually classic rock or 80s this n that. There’s a booth or two, and some plush couch seating farther back. There’s also a nice long bar with plenty of stools. Most interestingly, the space next door is a large open area with long tables, and there’s a set of french doors leading to it. They host all kinds of events in there, some for all different kinds of clubs and groups, and others open to all comers. Pretty cool.

This nice long bar was clearly built by people who wanted to be able to run it efficiently without having to drive themselves crazy--electrical outlets 12 feet up, retractable extension cords, lots of thoughtful touches. There’s a thin sheet of metal for the bartop, and lots of nice wood everywhere else. It feels welcoming and still very businesslike.

The staff here seem so young that they must be owning a brewery as part of a science fair for school or something, but, well, that just proves that I am old. They’re such nice kids, too, and they really know what they’re doing. They’re quick to tell you that they have tons of experience (so maybe I am not the only one who thinks they look 12?). Everything here goes smoothly--clean glasses, good pours, nice beers, friendly service.

They’re ambitious, too. They’re making lots of different kettle sours, and for all I know they might have real wild sours in the works for someday down the line, too. They have recently installed a proper cask beer engine--they’re clearly serious about shipping a solidly varied lineup. From what I’ve tasted so far, they’re more than holding their own.“

“In the corner of an industrial area, this local favorite is warm and inviting. Service was great, with a laisee fare attitude to running a tab and just worry about paying me when your done was nice. Service was interested and interactive as I chose to be which is what I like. Beers were much better in the tap room than I have had elsewhere and they were big and bold. Small pours at a reasonable price make this a really nice stop for me.“

“First this is a hard place to find. It is in the back alley part of a strip mall, which ends up being nice as there is little traffic or noise. A nice airy spot with a patio and a big bar dog. Service is counter but nice. Samples are reasonable but served in horrible little mason jars which really doesn’t do the beer justice. Beer is solid, with lots of interesting and weird flavored one offs. A nice little spot if you are doing the rounds.“

“A very fun place in a strip mall off a main street in the heart of Everett. 10 beers on tap when I went, all of pretty strong quality and diversity. Service was super friendly and prompt. Lots of bar seating and a few tables. Prices are very reasonable -- was about $17 for a taster flight of all 10 beers. Recommended when in Everett.“

“A small spot in a strip mall, bit hard to notice. Nice and very casual, watch out if you don’t like dogs there were a few when I was there. Service is good, with the brewer behind the bar. Selection is not bad with a tasting flight at a reasonable price. They have menu’s so you can order in. Beer was OK, but they are new so I will get them some leeway.“

“Nice little neighborhood bottle shop. It’s got a nice variety of the common selection, but not a huge amount of anything particularly rare. They have a bunch of different taps, but not a lot of seating. Prices seem fair, and nothing out of line with what you’ll find at other places. Good place to stock up if you’re in the area, but not really a destination you’d go out of your way for.“

“Located in a residential neighbourhood, this is a garage setup, literally. Friendly staff who are passionate about beer make this a fun stop. Beer quality is okay - nothing bad, but no real standouts. They can’t serve pints but will do tasters. Just a few minutes from 5 Rights, so it’s worth stopping in if you’re in the neighbourhood.“

“A grungy warehouse tucked away at the end of an industrial park. It’s not the most inviting or comfortable place, but it’s got character. 10 beers on tap, all more or less in the middle of road. Flights are available, but you have to ask specifically for which ones you want, as they will give you pre-set beers otherwise. Service is not overly friendly but accommodating. Prices are reasonable. Wouldn’t overly recommend this place unless you’re in the area.“

“These guys are fun. That’s not always meant as a compliment for places that do things sincerely, but these guys really are fun, and that’s in ways that enhance the enjoyment of their beers and food, rather than distract from it. They’re located on the back side of a busy strip mall; if you’re unfamiliar with Everett, you might not even know how many businesses are back here. Decent parking, easy to get to. Inside, there’s a main floor and then there’s a mezzanine; under the mezzanine sit the bar and the kitchen. Under the staircase that leads to the mezzanine is the doghouse. The brewery mascot curls up under there, behind a sliding window that lets him keep an eye on things—or come and go, if the owner opens it. It’s a perfect setting and immediately magnifies the nice homey vibe that the place has. The tables and chairs are all nice, more bistro-y than the usual brewpub vibe, which tends toward either the garage sale or all-wood ends of the spectrum. The brewer is also the owner, and the bartender, and the chef. The man works hard. The pizzas are solid, and there’s other stuff on the menu as well. His beers are good, and generally characterized by having at least one adjunct ingredient (a fruit, sweet, herb, or something else added to give it an unusual flavor). I enjoyed the ones I tried for sure. The prices here are fair, and this is an easy choice for a beer if you’re in Everett. It’s not walking distance from the hockey barn, unfortunately, but other than that it’s a great spot. “

“Right on the docks this place was full of the local boat workers and owners. Nice and large, but only a tiny bar. Service was great and friendly, beers were cheap and quality is OK. 8 beers on tap and sample sizes, but no internet access. I wasn’t a fan of their beers, but a nice friendly stop and great if you like boats.“

“Visited in May 2014, just a bit after opening, this operation runs out of a warehouse style place, in the commercial lane behind Colby ave. Samples of meads, 3 bottled meads available as of now to purchase, but also some experiments. Meads are in general sweet (which is a good thing); I hope they will play with different options and not only with fruit and spice adjunct. I like their mead, yet I think that 25$ for a 75cl bottle is a bit high.“

“Small operation, yet they have some 16 taps and some 20 bottles to go; beer sampler (4x4oz), wifi available; kind service, although I sense a bit of weirdness. No food, but they allow bring-ins. Somehow I get a positive relaxed vibe here. I hope they do some beer rotation too.“

“To be honest, I had absolutely no intention of ever adding this place, despite the fact that I stop by their beer section every time I stop in here. But I believe that you should be able to add any place where you can buy a Mirror Mirror off the shelf. I was shocked when I saw that. Aside from that one, it’s a moderately ghetto grocery store with a fair amount of macro crap, an OKish selection of craft singles, and a few dozen craft 6- and 12-packs.“

“This is a tiny little place tucked into a strip mall away from the main road, but worth a find. They have 6 of their own beers on tap, with two guest brews. They have a small food menu, but it’s really tasty. The beers are really interesting. I didn’t like some of them, but I appreciated the creativity that went into them. They have a small patio, and a cute friendly dog that roams around demanding pets and some fetch play. They have games you can play here, too. Really cool find!“

“This place is super hard to find if you’ve never been. My GPS got me to the wrong spot (though very close), and it took some doing to check the map and figure out a way to navigate there. Once we did find it, we had a nice time inside. It was a warehouse with a small bar and some picnic tables inside. They had 10 of their own beers on tap, and popcorn and pretzels to munch on, if you’re so inclined. They’ll do flights, but you have to specifically ask for all of them, if you want to do that option. Beer was decent, and they had quite a few options (10 taps), but the styles didn’t seem to go with the season, nor did they have anything from the porter/stout family on. Good place to stop, though.“

“A surprisingly well-stocked convenience store for the beer lover. There are half a dozen of these places around town now, if you go far enough out. I don’t know that I would say this one stands out, but they DO have 24 taps and you can get growlers to go of different local and west coast beers. They also stock about 300 different bottles of craft beer. Prices are more or less in line with what you pay everywhere else. It’s a great thing to have around.“

“I’m surprised at the low reviews of this place. It seems to have picked up quite a lot. They have 11 of their own beers on draught, including a nitro tap. They seem to have a couple "experimental" beers there you won’t likely find outside the brewpub (e.g., Jalapeno Tripel 7). Solid quality to the beers, and the "flights" are reasonably priced and perfectly customizable. If you’re so inclined, you can pick up a few bottles to take home. Nice crowd and a fun time. I wish more brewpubs were like this.“

“A small grocery store turned bottle shop and growler fill location. Lots of nice bottles from up and down the west coast. Over 30 draft taps for pints and growler fills. Very reasonably priced for a full growler - most were $10-12. Taps from across the Pacific Northwest with most hailing from Washington but quite a selection from Oregon as well. The first place in my area to fill the growler-fill business niche - with the quality and variety they are stocking I’m certain this place will grow in popularity,.“

“Very much a working production facility, and not quite as easy to find as I might care to admit. It’s tucked in around the back of Everett Mall, and, to complicate that fact even further, it’s tucked in behind a gymnastics academy. You have to drive in and scope around the parking lot a little--the Kegs to Go! sign is your beacon. This is pretty much a one-man op, and your entertainment options are confined to beers once you’re inside. You can get a one-spot brewery tour if Shawn’s feeling magnanimous, I would bet--he could stand you at the edge of the tasting area and point at different things and you could finish the whole tour that way. All their bottled stuff is for sale, and if there are kegs of stuff around, you can probably get a pour for there or to go. This place has grown up a lot in just a few years, and it’ll be interesting to see where it goes from here. Lots of tasty mainstream ales to quaff.“

“Neat building right on the water. My wife was concerned since the parking lot is out over the water. No frills not a neuvo brewpub in any way. But service was great, beer was the best price I have seen (under $4 pint). Food, well, not great, but decent prices and not too bad. Kids enjoyed it too. I will be back, nice laid back atmosphere and games for the kids and kids at heart.“

“Serviceable converted light industrial location of some kind. They’ve cleaned it up pretty well. They have a couple of flat screen tvs up, but it still feels a hair’s breadth removed from a cafeteria at a ferry dock.
The taps are all SB--about 10. They always have a seasonal or two and a nitro among them. The waitstaff is a bunch of kids. The beer here is quite nondescript, and the food is barely at Denny’s level--egg shells in the salad, a bunch of stuff pulled out of hermetically sealed industrial food supply bags and deep-fried.
If you’re hardcore about hitting breweries, this one is acceptable, but if you have non-beer-geeks in your group, you can do better. There’s just not much happening here--no other beers, no activities, just a small square dining room.“

“Cool looking place. We missed our turn here and figured one of the next streets would lead us down the hill to the water front. WRONG. This place can be tough to find if you’ve not been in the area much and you’re not following clear directions and attempt to “wing it” as I did. It took longer than expected to get seated considering the light crowd. Food was tasty and the service was good. Their beer is OK. Nothing wrong with it just it isn’t noteworthy. To me it seems like their IPA is like most Pale Ales and their Pale is more like a Mild.“

Maritime stuff with some random pictures of aircraft and vessels on the walls, no doubt to do with the base situated directly behind. “Visited April 2005. Easy-to-miss... nondescript whitewashed cinderblock facade, and a small sign that doesn’t face the road. The back of the building is on the waterfront, but the BP itself has a lovely view of the railroad tracks. Utterly dismal inside; white cinderblock again, decorated with maritime paraphenalia, ranging from Naval and Coast Guard pennants and awards, to snapshots of dinghies. Plastic chairs and tables, indoor-outdoor carpet. So-so beers, but the cola-like porter was nice, as was the slightly medicinal Belgian. Typical bar menu; burgers and fries. Food was good... solid sandwiches and burgers, fries were some of the best I ever had! Good service (we were outnumbered by the staff, being the only two customers.) A little effort on the appearance would help tremendously.“
