“WoW this place took my by a surprise. I left the wallet in the car. Just wanted to have a look and get a place tick. I had to return to the car and get my wallet. Actually a quite nice selection. By far the best place around here“

“Nice brown pub located in the heart of this huge city. Not really hard to find. You have to be quite drunk if you do not find it.
Opens really early. So it is possible to have a pit stop here even in the morning. Do also serve food.
Also a fine patio with a view of the harbor. The brewery equipment is visible on the second floor.“

“Bar located little bit up the street of Brygghused. They had 3 tap towers, all used for CB and about 15 bottles, where two was beer made for them by LB and only sold there. Service was ok and the place was nice. Visited 08.07.2017.“

“Brewpub of Farsund Brewering company, the Brewering company has now retired, but the brewpub is still running. Rumors on the house tells that one of the guys from FB will start over again, probably under new name. The place is nicely located in center of Farsund. 8 good varied tap towers and about 40 bottles of good selection. This place is a must when visiting Farsund. Service was excelent. Visited 08.07.2017.“

“What a nice surprise! Stellar location in the very centre of Farsund (which is not a big town anyway), nice patio. Their own beers on tap + some from other breweries, also a decent selection of bottled beers. Unfortunately I had to drive, so I settled for a Clausthaler Weizen. Next time I’ll sample the full range - promise! Very friendly staff. Only open 10:00 -15:00 Mon, Tue and Thursday, open evenings Wed, Fri and Sat. Sun closed. Possibly longer business hours in Summer.“

“This is now by far the best grocery store in Farsund for beers below 4.75% ABV, much better than previously. Some local beers, also national and international brands. A nice surprise! (Also Farsund’s best place for shopping groceries and some non-food.)“

“A very cozy pub with decent brews by their own and also a surprisingly good selection of other craft beers considering this is a rather small town where I suspect the customer base is relatively limited. The staff where helpful and friendly and the soundings where quiet and relaxed a Saturday before noon.“

“Visited September 2016, was told that this is the best beer shop in Farsund. Not a good selection by regular terms, but at least they have a more than less complete selection from Farsund Brewing Company and also some bottles from Nua that’s not very common outside Mandal.“

“Centrally located pub, or more precise local in Farsund, seems to be busy in the weekdays as well as the weekends, the owners wants this one to be a participator in the local music scene as well as a watering hole. Only one beer on tap though, some macro swill, but they had 2 good beers brewed by Lindesnes in the cooler, which made good impresssions for myself and Bryne.Some decent botles in the fridge as well. Also some decent pub snack to be had if you are feeling hungry. The bar is made from an old boats stern (Not bow, Bryne) with visable propeller and everything, nice twist.“

“Ordinary grocery store in a small shopping mall on the outskirts of Farsund. Best selection of bottled beers from Farsund Brewing at our visit (Bryne) makes this the number 1 bottle shop in Farsund. Thats the only reason to visit this one.“

“A nice brewpub! The host was super friendly and enthusiastic. Sadly, only two of their own beers on tap. Their Christmas beer and others were sold out. Business is for sure going well here! Some interesting guest beers on tap. Nice patio, but not in a gale late in December! Will return in summertime! (Visited December 30th 2015 with Gunnar)“

“We found this nice pub by by coincidence when we strolled around in Farsund. Farsund is actually a small city, not a town. City status since 1795 due to maritime activities. Well, foreigners will for sure see it as a small town.... Back to the pub. The place is really nice and have two beers brewed for them by Lindesnes Brygghus.This was a big surprise! The bar counter is actually the bow from a wooden boat (A dory?) Never seen that before. Nice! Lots of history on the walls: photos from old Farsund and boats. Spacious and clean toilets and soon there will be outdoor seating in the back yard. Super friendly service too. (Visited December 30th 2015 with Gunnar)“

“An average Vinmonopolet store. No local beers yet. But, hey! This is Norway... Ambiance is for the nice building and the surroundings. And, don’t bother visiting the nearby grocery store, Coop Extra. They don’t have local beers at all. (Visited December 30th 2015 with Gunnar)“

“Hmm, my first KIWI grocery store rating ever! And the reason why? This store has bottles from Farsund Brewing Company. Period. We found four bottles from Farsund and also spotted some from Lindesnes and Nøgne Ø. All beers refrigerated, even cheap cans. Nice. (Visited December 30th 2015 with Gunnar)“

“Farsund is quite a few miles off the beaten track, but if you’re ever in town, this is the place to go. Five of their own beers on tap on my visit on the opening night, and they’ll probably increase the number of beers available when the bottling gets started. Enthuiastic and friendly service, and an outdoor seating I bet is very popular in the summer time. Nice interior too, with wooden beams, wooden floor that is sure not to be considered flat in any way, and the brewery equipment is visible on the second floor.“

“Kjempekoselig bryggeripub med utsikt over indre havn i Farsund. Helt perfekt å sitte ute i sommersolen, og den entusiastiske innehaveren presenterte de fem egenproduserte fatølene med stolthet og service. Og tre av de fem ølene var meget bra, de to andre helt ok. Et sted jeg skal besøke igjen.“

“Brewpub located in the center of Farsund, in an old storehouse. Big patio with a great view of the harbour and the square, makes this a winner in the summer months. 5 beers on tap at our short visit, all of them presented by an enthusiastic Cato. Well worth a detour.“
