“Located just west of the Frederickton Bypass, in the commercial/industrial sector of the capital. It's in a shared building, the inside it a urban industrial style, that is way too comun for my taste. Despite that, they do have an interesting selection, including beers and ciders from others producers. I can't comment on the staff, mostly they were busy being this was open mic night, so I just purchase a 4 pac. Maybe I'll stop by the next year.“

“Visited on June 21th, 2022, in the evening. Located just off the Frederickton Bypass and a short distance from Grimross Brewery (on the other side of the bypass), in a mostly commercial area of the capital. I went there mostly because I did not wanted to go downtown and it was a close to my hotel. Typical looking large pub, but with a nice Maritime micro beer selection. The food is a mixture of pub grub and fish & seafood. Very good and friendly service. A plus, there is an elevator for the reduced mobility!“

“Best brewery in YFC hands down, focusing on the juicy, the bold and the funky. Located at the end of a strip mall off Main street, this place is modern, yet cosy, big patio in the back overseeing a lumber yard. Accessible via the Northside trail for the bikers. Snacks available. Top notch beers available as flights of 4 for 9$.“

“A cool cidery on the north side of town, surprisingly good. Located next to a wing spot (same owners), the place looks like a hippie joint, with mix of bric à brac furniture, the Goa Sofa, cool vibe. Flight of 4 for 9 dollars, pretty solid ciders with a bit of funk. Worthwhile.“

“About a km from grimross, this place is worth the stop for the food and some of the beers. It's located in an Irving gas station of all places Out of the 10 taps, 6 are local nb breweries, and they carry a dozen or more cans of local craft. The food is the star, with focus on upscale sandwiches with generous meats. Has the pulled duck naanwich which was solid. Smallest size is half pint at 5$, but little tastes available if you ask. Good place!“

“Located uptown (literally, up the big hill...) in an commercial area of malls, and chains, this place is in a little strip mall off the main drag. The place as an industrial vibe, with tables made of this big wooden rolls for cables. Service was good. Flight of 4 for 8.50$ with decent beers, nothing exceptional. Snacks only , but they do bring on a food truck on weekend. Still a good stop.“

“After 25km of cycling, this place was an oasis. Located in an industrial sector, a bit far if you dont have a car or bike, this taproom was a high point for my YFC trip. Large sitting area, in 2 zones, as well as a cozy nook in the back, big murale, big patio for summer months, and super friendly service (in French!). The flight of 4 is 8$ but if you cycle in, the first drink is 15% off (the brewery is close to one of the NB trails). Pints are 6.50$. Beers were all solid, no duds; and they are starting to barrel age some beers. Food trucks on weekend, as well as summer time kitchen coming. A few snacks available (or grab a samosa at the nearby gas station). Promising place.“

“Again, a beautiful place in YFC, very woody and cosy, plenty of seating place, oyster bar, but damned, the beers were problematic, except for the Flanders Red. Flight was the most expensive of this trip, at 11$ plus tax.“

“Beautiful place along the St John River, located in a former roundhouse. The decor is fantastic and modern meets old Victorian. Food offering are burgers. On the other hand, the beers are uninspiring, never seem to progress or improve. Flight of 4 for 10 $.“

“Probably best beer bar in YFC...and located at my hotel (The Lord Beaverbrook); nice British pub vibe, long bar, as well as big dining area. Good service. Decent food menu, had the Joyce Burger ( their take on the Big Mac but way better)...36 taps of NB beers, some ciders and a mead. Flight of 4 for 10.50$.“

“A cool little brewery /record store/event bar in downtown YFC. The beers were ok to solid, service a bit surly but good overall, no beer flights but samples available if you ask nicely.“

“Located in the west end of downtown YFC, this place is worth the stop. Typical ex garage set up with sliding doors, big patio, good service, very modern and woody vibe. Beers were mostly solid. Flight of 4 for 8.50$. Indian food truck was present when I visited.“

“First beery stop in YFC. Located downtown in a pizza restaurant, the place is cozy, with dining room and a long bar. Service was friendly. Good menu of snacks, pizza, sandwiches and pasta. Brewery visible behind the bar. Beers were so-so to ok. Flight of 4 for 8$.“

“Visited during an August 2018 afternoon. The brewery is quite hard to find, located behind a small street mall. Modern place with huge bar and tables. 8 beers was on tap and 6 flights. Fast service and cozy staff. I'd definitly come back there.“

“2018-06-20. Large store in a former railway station I believe. Large craft beer section just inside the entrance. Large selection of NB beers on one side was my focus, I didn't realize until after that there was a huge wall of US and other imported stuff on the other side. It was mostly things that I have had (The Bruery and similar US breweries), and the new to me was mostly expensive and in heavy bottles so I stuck with the local cans for this trip but it was impressive nonetheless. Growler stations available as a well. Likely a must visit if you are in town.“

“2018-06-23. Good sized space with a taverny decor, friendly servers. Fish and chips were pretty tasty and other people's food was apparently good. I enjoyed our visit but the beers were pretty average to disappointing so I would prioritize other beer places in town if you have limited time to visit.“

“2018-06-23. A nice space we sat on the funky vintage couches facing out onto the patio through the open garage door. Good number of taps - I think 10 ciders and 4 beers - I was not expecting so many! I only had time for a quick sampler so I didn't get to try as many as I would have liked but they were pretty tasty overall. Friendly bartender. Definitely worth a visit, just up the road from Trailway.“

“2018-06-23. Modest sized space with as much seating again outside on the patio. We opted for the shadier upper patio. Friendly server and staff. Good selection of their own taps on with flights available. I tried most of the ones I hadn't picked up cans of already. The first four were pretty similar tasting hoppy beers but all enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit - I regret not having more room in my luggage for cans! :) “

“2018-06-21. Caveat - the hotel the pub is in was doing renovations when were here. The toilets were out of comission so we had to go upstairs, only to discover the water was temporarily turned off! This was recommended to me as a good option for beer selection and food. Decor feelse like a mid to upscale hotel bar, which it is. The electronic beer list is cool if you are ordering a pint but I found the cycling made it tough to keep track to choose beers for a flight. The tap list is extensive with 30+ (I think) taps and a pretty solid food menu. The food was all pretty good. I quite enjoyed my Korean pork sandwich despite the lukewarm fries (pretty sure our food took some time to come out from the kitchen). Some of our party ordered the small plates which were smaller than expected so ask if you are thinking of making it a meal. Our server was very friendly but disappeared for a bit (hence my comment above about the food taking some time.) but I suspect some of this is due to the renovations. Overall I quite enjoyed our visit and would go back despite the quibbles. “

“2018-06-21. Nice spot, what I assume is a pretty new renovation. Overall impression is posh pub, with some classic architectural / decorative features. Comfy bar stools are nice but packed too close together at the bar IMHO. Friendly server, decent tap selection of Gahan beers. Food menu sounded decent but we did not eat. We were short on time so I had a quick sampler flight and moved on. Nice spot. “

“2018-06-21. 15-20 taps, only five of which are their own beers today which is unusual according to the bartender. Good mix of NB craft breweries in a range of styles on the rest of the taps. Mostly bar seating inside, decent sized patio outdoor. I opted to sit inside by the nice open garage door with shade and a view of the World Cup on the TV! My flight was decent but similar. (I got the Patagonia ISA, IPA, and APA in fairness.) I would have liked to have stayed longer if I had time but I was trying to hit a bunch of places in a short amount of time. Nice spot. Cans and growlers of their own beers available to go I believe.“

“Nice relaxed downtown pub with a lot of younger clientele having some beers. Food was good but not exceptional and they did flights of local beers from the maritimes. Not the biggest selection but will keep you busy for an evening. I'd hang out here if I lived in the area.“

“I stopped in here after a failed attempt to find the Garrison District Ale House. I guess it burned down a while ago. Anyhow. Warm dark wood dimly lit and surprisingly busy on a Wednesday night. 28 or so tap lines with a mix of Canadian macros Guinness Stella and a nice selection of micros I’d never tried. Typical pub food, but done quite well, I quite enjoyed the burger I had. The busy guy behind the bar didn’t have a lot of time to chat or notice when my glass was empty. Still I would return if in the area.“

“The only place to get Picaroon’s Fox Tail Ale. Also a wide (for the province) selection of crafts, macros and imports. Food is good, prices are decent for Fredericton. Huge burger and fries for $13 or less depending on options. Daily drink and seasonal food specials. Very pub atmosphere. Textured ceiling, booths, very dark wood. Servers try hard, but he’ll is other patrons. It is often busy and the other customers are often loud and rowdy. Definitely worth a stop, but taking kids after 6 is probably a bad idea unless you want them to learn some new words.“

“Stopped by here on my way to Nova Scotia. Has a small selection of taps that carry a few Piccaroons, and some Garrison beers from Halifax. The rest of the taps are macro beers from Molson, Rickards, Creemore and some Guiness and Stella. Good pub fare with generous portions.“

“Best place in Fredericton if you’re looking for a lot of draught beers (over 20; I think the most in Fredericton) and good, solid pub food. The beers on tap are a fairly good variety, and the outside deck upstairs is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon with some drinks.“

“Cozy "English" pub is pretty standard, couple of Picaroon’s and Pump House brews. Sat at the bar kitty corner to a guy who looked like he was there quite often. Food was solid pub grub in healthy portions - my wrap with fries was pretty large and filling. Would go again.“

“definitely a decent place to eat with one of the better selections of micros on tap in Fredericton. The food is usually very good for pub food. (great wings and their "hot" and "suicide" actually mean it) The portion sizes can be a little suspect from time to time, but the taste makes up for it.“

“Food is decent, service attentive on the very quiet mid-afternoon when I was there. Selection isn’t fantastic but it’s one of the best you’ll find in New Brunswick. Have a few beers from both Picaroons, Fredericton’s only micro, and the Pump House, Moncton’s micro, all on tap. Most taps and bottles are macros, though, and probably sell a lot quicker than the micros - the Pump House Scotch Ale I had was either really old, in desperate need of a clean tap line, or both.“
