“I visited here for the first time in about five years Tuesday 12th September 2017 It was still a busy little thriving place, the layout had changed a little and the selection perhaps tapered off just a touch. There was still a good selection from Ramsbury, perhaps Three Castles?, certainly that brewery that does the feathers on the bottles is it Two Cocks? and one or two others but I didn't see any Butts, West Berks', Tutts Clump and the cider range was certainly less than previous visits. It seemed like the rise in popularity in Gin, Gin products had taken some shelf space and there was a lot of wines which were clearly being sourced from Laithwaites as the excellent Black Stump was amongst them. Still a great shop for food, really good stuff here and well worth a stop if you are driving between Marlborough and Hungerford but unless you are after Ramsbury or Two Cocks (and there was another brewery who I have forgotten) then the beer range isn't going to excite you. 60 My earlier visits to here was (see following review... Visited here Feb' 2nd 2012 I have visited here 2-3 times now, the place is situated between Hungerford and Marlborough , near Froxfield but close enough to Hungerford to just be over the border in Berkshire. Decent local produce with Tutts Clump cider and some local beers such as Butts and that one that make Flintknapper (forgot the brewery) Prices aren’t bad, its easy to park, I’ve not had any food from here but I would imagine that it would be good, this place has seemed quite busy on each occasion that I’ve visited. Worth going into and picking up some local beers. 62

“A nice farm shop selling mainly local beers (I counted about 50 bottles) and other local produce such as cheeses, cooked and fresh meats, fruit and vegetables and bread. Some of the deli-type food was quite expensive but the quality was high and the beers seemed reasonably priced. The service was very friendly. (Visited 23 September 2012).“

“Thanks to Fin for adding this place as it was a handy staging post to pick up a few bottles on the way home from a trip to Somerset. About 30 bottles, mainly local - Ramsbury, Three Castles, Ridgeway, Butts, West Berkshire. As many ciders as beers - Once Upon A Tree, plenty of Tutts Clump, Fosseway, the rare Three Choirs, maybe others I’ve forgotten. Foodwise, a good selection of cheeses and other local produce. A handy stop if passing (not far from the M4 motorway) if not a destination in itself.“
