“Very friendly, little Brewery in Fryeburg, which is reasonably close to Ebenezer's, so can be easely included in your trip to that place. The people here really shifted their intrests from the previously existing shop + other jobs, only to be a brewpub now. the beers were alright, but the service was extremely friendly. very good prices, flights available. we had 6 beers by them at our visit. I'm surprised to see everything by the Brewery + place was entered here very nicely, but no ratings given. perhaps they added all of it? Anyway, it's nice to see people being interested in our site, and not shamelesly self-rating their places and beers ( I just came from Spain, where many people seem to tend to do this ) Cheers to that ! Anyway, in general, this place could be a nice stop if you're going to ebenezers. Even if only for the place-tick, you'll have a good time by the service being this friendly.“

“Quick stop on the way out of Maine. Located adjacent to Saco River Brewing, which appears to not be in the DB yet and was not open when I was there. I will need to add it at some point. The Good Beer Store is quite small; a converted two room house I would guess. About 1/3 of the space devoted to wines and other alcohol. The shelves were pretty darn bare when I was there - think the picture above divided by 10 or 20. Interesting selection but nothing jumped out at me as rare or crazy. I think time has not been kind to this place, or perhaps I caught them just prior to a restock. In any case many beers that were real finds in 2012 are now just distro beers in California, so its hard to get excited anymore.“

“Visited in May 2011. Small rural beer, wine and spirits store. Some rare beer but at premium price. Good help and advices. Nice selection for a far away store in the woods. But pretty narrow compare to some store in Portland or Burlinghton. After reading the other rating, I put a note to stop again on my next visit to Ebenezer Pub.“

“What a great find while cruising along from Conway, NH to Bridgeton, ME. Very well lit store. Very well organized. No clutter. In my humble opinion, this store hosts one of the most amazing selections that I have ever seen. Several very hard to find gems from Mikkeller, De Struise, Brew Dog, etc. Great selection of imports, as well as all of the local craft brew that you would expect. I was visiting the area, so I also need an opener and a couple of pint glasses...viola, had those as well! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices seemed a bit on the high side, but was happy to pay for such rare treats for the beer cellar. Do not miss stopping by this place!“

“Wonderful store right across the border. I was surprised to find it and happily grabbed some Maine Beer. The owner was very friendly and helpful. They had a great range of singles and some hard to find beers. Prices are a bit higher than NH.“

“I was shocked to find this store opening in Fryeburg, just across the state line from my home. They’re great people with a great attitude toward beer. I am psyched they opened and are starting to carry homebrew supplies. They’ll run homebrew classes every so often as well (fee charged). The selection is pretty darned good for this area. Mostly single bottles of really good beer. They also have a limited wine selection. The only downsides for me are the prices. Living in NH there is no sales tax or bottle deposit, so I end up spending a lot more here than I would in NH. But for the quality and selection available, it can be worthwhile.“

“only tried their bar/restaurant, and beer selection is quite dull even though you can get a few local ones. food, wine, value, and service was excellent“

“Stopped here while in the area to attend a Belgian Beer Festival. I am always looking for sour beers and unusual offerings. I was able to get a Cantillon and a few other Gueuzes and Lambics. The star of the visit was the 6 pack of De Struise Pannepot 2010. Great store, friendly staff and excellent beer selection. I found the selection to be excellent for such a remote area of Maine.“
