| 64 /100 FRANZ-BAUER-WEG 4 “In an area that’s a cross between a quaint suburb and the industrial zone of Fürstenfeld. Hard to explain. The place is really cute from the outside, a lot of nice touches to the exterior. Not sure if there’s something inside generally or not though. The nice brewer/owner told us there’s only 2 kinds at the moment (zwickl and rose beer) so we got a mixed 6-pack. Definitely visit the place if you’re in the area.“ |
| 56 /100 HAUPTSTRAßE 31 “Big, sprawling place, which the now-inconspicuous entrance belies (the building appears to be in some phase of renovation I guess). Classic dark wood Central European traditional-ish place. Cute "inspirational" writings around. There is an inside patio sort of thing. Professional service but yeah, German-speaking (but even my limited German worked fine). As Gurthnar said, the tap handles belie the situation - only the Helles and the Dunkel ever seem to be available (and their mix), both OK enough when we visited (though their counterparts at Kostanj that we had visited earlier outshone them). The wheat is Schneider now apparently, so no Golser tick for you. Seen others come to eat, didn’t try that myself. Fairly empty when we visited, but partly due to its size too. partly, perhaps, due to the price. 3.90€ for 0.5l of a brewpub lager not special in any way. Seen far more expensive-to-make beer in Austria for less. Yeah, typical brewpub of the wider area, only slightly more forgettable than most. Visit if in the area I guess for the ticks - it’s not like there’s a whole bunch of choices, but I doubt you’ll be returning.“ |

Some beers listed in the shop were not available while some other beers were available but not listed. In total they had 4 different styles available. Contact through email was very friendly and prices were very reasonable. Not sure if they ship outside of Austria though. Beers were very fresh when they arrived and definitly above average quality. Will order again.“ |
