60 /100 Churston Traditional Farm Shop (Grocery Store) DARTMOUTH ROAD Medium-sized farm shop located just off the A3022 Brixham road, on a small estate that feels oddly spooky (not sure why, it just does). There's also a small garden centre, café and children's play area. The farm shop felt a little understocked on our visit, but maybe that was deliberate for the low season. There were still 30 different brews from half a dozen or so local breweries and cideries - nothing too unusual for anyone who's been to this bit of Devon before (Bays, Teignworthy, etc) but still probably a few ticks for most Ratebeerians. There were also decent butchers, cheese and deli counters, and a very friendly chap running the place. Probably not worth going out of your way for beerwise, but might be worth dropping in if you're passing. |
62 /100 Manor Inn (Bar) 2 STOKE GABRIEL ROAD Large multi-barred village pub run by local consortium. Top of range pub grub, but bar service can be slow. Function rooms and B&B. Beer range mainly local- 3 real ales. |
