82 /100 Zum Wilden Hirsch (Bar) PASINGER STRASSE 1B Really unique place not only for Munich but for beer drinking in Germany. Interior is very cosy with seating for 40 in an alpine lodge/Bavarian pub style. Small beer garden outback with a mini sand beach and funky antique tools and benches opening onto the majestic Wuerm river. When at the river’s edge you are suddenly totally secluded and forget there’s a busy road nearby. Service is friendly and efficient. Beer on tap is Augustiner Lagerbier Hell (what else???). Bottles include other Augustiner variations, Unertl wheat beers, and totally surprising: Uerige Alt and Frueh Koelsch! Very unusual for Munich. Food is decent, fresh, and affordable too. You can grab bottles to go from the bar for about 2 euros. Very useful since there are NO other kiosks or bottle shops in the area. |
