“Nice open concept brewpub. Excellent selection of beer made in house. Food was good. Service was awful. Totally inattentive. It is what it is.“

“Stopped by around 6 on a Friday night right before the crowd hit. Very busy. Large place. Moderately sized bar indoors and another bar outdoors with a large patio. Ambiance is brick and wood, corporate feeling, but that may be because it's in a mall. You can imagine the parking situation. Three bartenders were friendly, but overworked. I tried six sample sized beers for a reasonable price. Prices for pints a bit steep. Crowler prices OK. Mixed in quality, but no obvious flaws except for a Cigar City collab. The altbier was a little too sweet. The DIPA was a little tame. The IPAs were quite good and the sour wit was solid. It's out of the way, but with 25 taps, it's a good place to get ticks.“

“Sat outside on a sunny summer day. Sort-of Comunal style biergarten in front of this place which is in a mall. It was busy inside and out. You can order everything they have aside from the barrel aged beers as a sample. I had a salad it was okay. This is a good place to come if you are ticking, they had 25 of their own beers on plus guests when I was there.“

“I came here a couple weeks back to try their beer. Not expecting much, since they recently opened... I was floored by their selection of 22 taps - all their own! I didn’t order food, but it looked and smelled nice. As for the ambiance, you couldn’t tell you wee in a shopping mall unless you were right by the front entrance. I can’t wait to go there again.“

“Tucked inside the southwest corner of Southridge Mall, The Explorium has about 10 of its own beers on tap (we tried the porter, barleywine and IPA and each was solid and tasty), a few guest taps and a family friendly atmosphere. There are two large indoor seating sections (no TVs -- much appreciated for conversation), a bar and a summertime patio that overlooks the mall parking lot. The food menu is more extensive than seen at most brew pubs so there’s no problem finding something for everyone. The prices are on the high end for the Milwaukee area ($6/pint), likely a victim of mall rent and locating your brewing operation on the premises. There are so few interesting beer places in Milwaukee’s southern suburbs that it’s great to see such an elaborate attempt being made. Plus I’m relieved I have a place to go while the wife does her Macy’s-Boston Store-Kohl’s circuit.“

“The latest life for an old bank building in Greendale’s village shopping area is the Panther Pub. There’s a small but nice selection of tap craft beers (I recall three New Glarus, one Lakefront, one Central Waters, one Lagunitas, one Boston Beer from tonight’s visit) plus a very reasonable number of bottles. Sampler flights available and bartenders always willing to give a taste or two before you select. Good hot and cold sandwich selection. Total Greendale High School vibe with student-athlete photos and cheerleaders everywhere plus the old football field scoreboard. A great spot to take a break while others in your party check out the little shops in the village.“
