82 /100 21 W. NORTH ST. Old garage on a side street, has a character reminiscent of the 1950s. Tables fill most of the space with a bar in the back left as you enter. I only saw Wooden Bear taps. Flights are available, but on the high end of pricing. Food is mostly available from a pizza place next door. My server was courteous, warm and friendly, and I also had a good discussion with the brewer. It was crowded (Sunday night), but that may be due to the fact that Monday was the day of the solar eclipse (which I was present for). Good place! I would return. |
78 /100 21 W. NORTH ST. Large open brewpub with ample seating - family friendly. Small bar off to the side. Nice selection of beer styles. Flight was on the pricey side though - 5 + 1 extra was $14.50 - not sure if I got charged wrong. |
66 /100 State Street Exchange (Beer Store) 1208 N STATE SE (Visited 02/2013): State Street Exchange (AKA Greenfield Liquors) is located on North State Street not too far off I-70 on the way in to Greenfield. There is a small parking lot next to the building. The interior is relatively small with the beer located past the register on the right side of the store. The selection is a little better than the convenience store look belies. Breweries from Indiana like Three Floyds, Barley Island, Flat 12 and Sun King alongside other domestic breweries like Sixpoint, Rogue and New Belgium. Some imports as well. Service at the store was friendly while I was browsing and during checkout. Overall this is not a destination beer shop but is worth a quick stop to grab an Indiana craft beer. |
66 /100 State Street Exchange (Beer Store) 1208 N STATE SE Stopped in tonight on my way through town. Picked up a nice (fresh) bomber of Dreadnaught and noticed an assortment of Bells, FFF (pretty depleted), Founders and other local/regional fare. Pricing was a little high and there was nothing that was earth shattering, but a decent stop. |
66 /100 State Street Exchange (Beer Store) 1208 N STATE SE Not great, but they surprise me from time to time. I just got Bell’s Oracle in Greenfield, IN. Amazing. |
52 /100 Lucky Liquors - Greenfield (Beer Store) 2240 N STATE RD 9 Right off of I70 at Exit 104 next to Gas America. You are not going to find any hidden gem. However, they do have all FFF sixers, a bunch of Bells, and a couple of Founders. They prices are less than in the city. They help is basiclly just there to take your money. But, this place ha saved my tail more than once. |
