34 /100 SAQ Classique - Grenville (#23200) (Beer Store) 26, RUE MAPLE Passed by today on my way back from the flea market in Lachute, not much there, maybe 2 beers, no scotch, need to be desperate. |
62 /100 Beau-Soir - Marché Express R. Éthier (Grenville) (Grocery Store) 13, RUE MAPLE Second time I go there. I was more impressed the first time. Was charged the price of the 4-pack for an individual, had to show the clerk where I picked it. Somewhat disappointed I could take the single. |
60 /100 Beau-Soir - Marché Express R. Éthier (Grenville) (Grocery Store) 13, RUE MAPLE Visited this place on November 28, 2014, in the afternoon. Located just across the bridge from Hawkesbury, it’s maybe the only good beer store between Montreal and Gatineau on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River, considering the fact it’s the only bridge between these two cities. This store is a good thing for locals on both sides of the river, so no one have to drive more then an hour from Quebec micro beer, except for rare stuff. It is a convenience store/gas station, so nothing fancy about this place. The selection is fairly solide, basically the usual suspect of Quebec microbreweries. The downside is when it comes to buying 341 ml single bottle, that selection is small, I don’t know if you can break a part a 6 pac because I’ve not seen any of them in singles. |
