72 /100 Barley Sprout Restaurant (Restaurant) 639 SE 223RD stopped in for a couple ticks, they no longer brewer there own beer but did have a new beer for me to try. Nice looking pizza place. I did not eat but it looked good. |
88 /100 243 NW MILLER AVE Great little place in downtown Gresham. Staff and patrons are super friendly and welcoming. Growler and Crowler fills on lots of taps. Decent Cider and Wine option too. |
62 /100 4225 S.E. 182ND Simple place. Typical Mcmenamins mall sort of place. My next to last stamp. Decent food and a few nice brews. Worth visiting in Gresham. Had some fairly bad service here which is unusual for me despite what people say about McMenamins. |
86 /100 328 N MAIN AVE Great homebrew shop that also operates a variety of rotating taps (28 or 30, I forget exactly). Plus, it’s right next door to a burger place, The Local Cow, which will bring your food over to you. They also had a cooler full of a wide variety of bombers from various breweries for sale. Great place and I’d stop in again if I’m ever back in that area. |
76 /100 Cheap Charlie’s Beer and Wine Superstore (Beer Store) 67 NE ROBERTS AVE Stopped by again a few days ago. He has a bunch of beer on tap for growler (or any other container) fills. Excellent prices.
Cheap Charlie’s is a fairly big space in downtown Gresham. Half the area is devoted to beer and the other half to wine. About 3/8 of the beer is in a large cooler. They have a good selection of Oregon beer, a little Washington, California and other states, and small international. The prices are right on though. The owners were nice and offered good advice. This place probably has the best selection/variety in East Multnomah county. It’s a great addition to the local area.

98 /100 Cheap Charlie’s Beer and Wine Superstore (Beer Store) 67 NE ROBERTS AVE Great place all the beer in the world and low low prices |
92 /100 328 N MAIN AVE This is a homebrew shop, a bottle shop, and a bar all in one. They have a large stock of a variety of beers which can all be consumed on premise as well as 5 or 6 rotating taps. Often there is only one person tending shop so it can get busy but the patio is well worth it, particularly in good weather. The homebrew shop is well supplied and well organized. the owner is friendly and very helpful. |
72 /100 4225 S.E. 182ND Nice bar but reminded me of TGI Fridays quite a bit. It was an average strip mall restaurant with typical pub fare and
bric-a-brac decor. Their selection was the typical Mcmenamins selection with maybe 1 seasonal. Meh. |
56 /100 Old Chicago (Gresham) (Bar) 850 NW EASTMAN PKWY Stopped in since we were in the area and hungry. They have at least 24 different taps and a large bottle selection. I had a Terminal Gravity IPA and Boulder Mojo IPA, both were good although they were served in cold mugs so I had to let them warm up before drinking. Food was pretty good |
64 /100 333 N MAIN AVE This was kind of a disappointment. This place is huge though, looks like it used to be something else, but I do not know what. Beers where basic, kind of like what I would expect from a chain restaurant, but they had not alcohol to speak of. |
70 /100 4225 S.E. 182ND Dark and smoky feel, open feel to it with a standard McMenamin’s in a strip mall atmosphere. Very good service and some seasonal selection. Not bad. |
70 /100 333 N MAIN AVE Big place, small bar. Stuck back on some tourist strip of gift shops. The waitress was very nice and did her job well. Beer was so-so. Not worth the drive out from Portland if you’re in town only for a small time. |
76 /100 333 N MAIN AVE Fairly hard to find as it’s tucked into the corner of a small yuppie shopping area. Lots of parking though. Inside is very clean and &quo;new&quo; with an upscale decor going for them. The main bar here doesn’t look like it sees much business as the dive bar just through the doors sounds like that’s where all the action is. The waitstaff was friendly enough, didn’t try the food. The beers were served well and had tons to choose from, a few were good but most seemed &quo;rushed&quo;. Not too bad, worth a once over. |
