“Visited on a quiet thursday evening. Great location! In the harbour of Harlingen, on the edge of the Waddenzee. Two stories building, only one open at this time. Spacious, with also a big terrace outside. Staff is friendly, but service lacks. Have to go to the bar to order, nobody coming towards you to ask, even though there are just a handfull of customers. Beers are pretty nice. Mostly own beers, one or two other Dutch beers at this time. Shop available to buy their beers for taking home. Prices are ok, a little on the high side.“

“Visited on a saturday afternoon. Lovely harbour location and conveniently close to the train station. There’s a bit obvious but fitting maritime theme to the place. Friendly guys serving decent beers. They listed five of their own beers on tap, but one was not available. They have some craft beer from other (local) breweries if you crave more when you’re finished with the BrouwDOK brews. We had a big stack of cheese with our beers. Cool place, a must stop when you’re in the area.“

“Small brewpub more or less across the street from where the ferries take off. Looks really inviting, has a few wooden tables, a small bar and maritime accessory. When I visited, five of their own beers were on tap, and other beers, some from the area, but also standards like Budvar or Brewdog, were available in can or bottle. It’s possible to order a tasting flight with four beers which is a bit cheaper than ordering them apart (and you get some peanuts as well), although tasting glasses are always available. The brewers were nice guys and I was given the opportunity to watch them brewing and they talked a bit about their philosophy. Had a good time here, make sure to visit this place when you are in Harlingen, even if you are just there to take one of the ferries.“

“Op een leuke lokatie, vlakbij de havens van Harlingen, vertrekpunt van de veerboten. Leuk gezellig proeflokaal met toegang tot de brouwerij achter in de lokatie. Op zaterdag wordt er gewoon gebrouwen. Beide heren nemen even de tijd voor een gezellig praatje. Kaas/worstplankje beschikbaar om bij het bier te nuttigen. Naast alle actuele bieren van de brouwer van het vat ook bieren van andere brouwers verkrijgbaar van fles. Ja prima. Goed bereikbaar met de trein of auto.“
