Very comfortable, historic pub. 9 ciders on offer and around a half dozen ales. Great service, friendly locals. Very good visit.“ |

Definitely more of a foodie place than a pub with limited drinking only seating/space. Offered 5 ales on this visit, 2 normal Adnams and 3 local guests. Decent service. Food looked great but didn’t eat in. Strange heady unexplained smell of pungent araldite like adhesive throughout the place was off putting. Didn’t click with me.“ |

Apparently this place gets quite raucous on a Friday night/weekend but on a Friday lunchtime visit was quiet with great service. Nicely set out inside. Beer selection was somewhat limited. But worth popping into.“ |

A really classic old style boozer serving a good selection of cask ales and a few bottles too. Awesome food. Great service. Working wifi. I will stay here again for sure.
