ambiance: Average. Strip mall place at a small crossroads. Best thing going inside is the tap handle-centric decor. Otherwise, feels like a slightly run-down TGIFriday's. service: Totally fine. Not super knowledgeable about the beer, but otherwise acceptable. selection: Around a dozen taps, perhaps twice that many bottles. They usually have a couple of local breweries on draft. Some stuff I've not seen anywhere else in the region. food: Bar far. Some of it is better than average (Monte Cristo on the Sunday brunch menu) and some of it is movie theater quality (nachos are just multi-colored tortilla rounds topped with a globby glop of 7-11 style nacho "cheese"). I have a particular weakness for the soft pretzel bites. value: Reasonable for Maryland. overall: A fine place to stop for the occasional post-church lunch, which is what we use it for. Used to be known as Twist & Turn Tavern. Apparently they give away pint glasses on Monday nights, so that's cool.“
