“Note, this review is of the new Flounder spot at Carriage Farm that open in 2021 (I believe), not the old location that was in a small warehouse type set up a few miles away. The old location is now closed, and they are fully move to here. Visit Date: 7/2/22 This place is really nice looking, beautiful barn style building, with large patios on both sides, garage doors to open it up, and a large inside seating area as well. Kids (downstairs) and dogs (outside) are allowed. There is also an upstairs that is adults only, but was closed on my visit, so I didn't get to see it. Order at the bar for drinks, with pleasant service. Was not packed, but crowded enough on our visit, and they ran it pretty well. They have always had a good mix of styles, and that is still the case. You always like when a 2022 menu isn't just 7 kettle sour juice beers and 7 NEIPAs. Food-wise the carriage house has food trucks - 20ish feet from the brewery, and a calendar of what is available when. Hopefully this isn't ruined by the terrible NJABC law (starting July 2022) that is forbidding food trucks at breweries, since the food truck is at the farm not the brewery. Definitely worth a visit. I think they took all the things I enjoyed about visiting their tiny old spot and brought them to a beautiful new location.“

“Let me begin by saying I’m not a Hillsborough local. Good variety of beers (limited and hard to find beers included) with mixed value. The prices are slightly higher than my normal places but not prices i wouldn’t pay. Compared to Bottle King across the way, Petrock’s costs a little more BUT at least the stuff you get is relatively fresh. The staff was friendly and even a fellow consumer stopped to discuss some favorited. I will surely visit them when I’m in the area.“

“Typical look for a discount liquor place. Values are great even if your not a member. Selection of beers are fair but not great. Main issue is that I tend to find undesirably old beers. When I’m shopping for beer I want to get stuff as fresh as possible. The wine selection is really quite nice though and if I was a wine guy, this place would be more my speed.“

“solid liquor store with a great selection. My only issue is I have requested a few different orders and never hear back via a phone call. Sometimes they get the item sometimes they don’t but I have no clue unless I go in there to visit again.“

“Best local place in central jersey. They’re family owned liquor store and attached restaurant and bar is the place to go in my town. Great selection and prices along with awsome home town service and knowledge. I love this place!“
