76 /100 Red Lion (Bar) 27 HIGH STREET Spacious two room pub. 9 casks, 4 ciders and some bottles in the fridge. Very cozy room with lots of beer paraphernalia all around the place. Seems to be visited by the locals. We stayed for a quick half pint, and it was certainly worth stopping at. |
54 /100 Boot Inn (Bar) 1 HIGH STREET Multi-roomed beaut of a pub. No surprises in the beer selection: Adnams, Wherry and Doom Bar on. The beer is in perfect condition, however. Not a tickers’ pub but worth stopping in for a swift half or two. |
88 /100 Red Lion (Bar) 27 HIGH STREET Big two roomed village pub. A slice of heaven north of Cambridge city centre. Good selection of real ales (8-10) -probably a few you haven’t tried - and some non-UK taps/bottles. Big-ass beer festivals held. This place is serious about beer, and so should you be should you enter. |
74 /100 Red Lion (Bar) 27 HIGH STREET An unspoilt village pub with a good collection of brewer relics and a good range of beers. As well as the handpumps there’s a lso a small range of Belgian bottles, very unusual outside the city. Well worth a visit. |
