“Had a secret gathering for our cousins 60 years anniversary. Booked a family room and was entertained with sandwiches, sausages in pastry and of course a big Scottish cake. There are 2 pubs, in the lower one there is a greater selection. There are several hidden cans/bottles it's is only a few of the staff that have knowledge. A few locals on tap and 5 hand pulls. Found several that were very local and superb. Great serving by the dude that had best knowledge. Food was great had a Steak Pie and some Sticky Toffee for desert. Our food was great but not all of the guest in our group was that lucky. Old but clean toilets. Had a wee walk outside, nice fear and lovely wee creak.“
