“Dropped in after kayaking in Chatham. It was a lovely sunny hot day and by the time we arrived the sun was slowly dropping low in the sky. Really nice atmosphere here, a guy was singing on a small stage under a gazebo, a food truck was serving burgers and families were kicking back. This outside seating area is what greets you before entering, kind of sharing the car park area, and you walk through to enter the brewery into a merch area, and on into a large seating hall (empty, understandably) and the main bar. Quite a lot on tap - I'd say close to 25 Cape Cod beers on, plus a few guest ciders. Took a while to read through the list to choose a flight. Basically when you buy a flight, you get some tokens and a small glass which you take back and refill. Not a bad way to do it, considering how many glasses they'd otherwise get through. There's also a smaller outside bar with a smaller - but still quite large - range to save you walking back inside. Liked the unpolished, down to earth feel of this place. Glad we called by.“

“Stopped in on way home from week at cape. Hopping parking lot there was food truck, mini golf course next door and icees cream spot. Building is nice enough just got stuff to go but decor was ok. Server friendly. Annoying could only get 4 pack with 2 different brews vs 4 unique. Like 8 or so brews available. Cans to go one over priced bomber.“

“I've gone here several times as it's a pleasant place to visit and I usually get my growler refilled while I'm sampling the current brews on tap. Their flagship brew, Cape Cod Red, is a tasty go to amber ale that I love. They have a "tour" which is show's the main room where they also have tables and games you can play while enjoying their offerings. The tour is mainly a lecture show casing their facilities, their beer and their history. Their front room is a retail area where you can buy glasses, books, apparel, locally made snacks, crafts and of course you can buy their brews fresh in growlers, 22 ounce bottles or cans. Their beer is fresh meaning it's recommended you keep it cold if you take it home. Whenever I'm in this area I usually make a point to come here. The staff is friendly and helpful.“

“This is a pleasant place to visit. There are tours but they are not really walk-around tours but more of a lecture and Q&A in the brew house. Nice retail room and there are far more beers here than you can find in the stores. You can buy cans, bottles, or growlers of most except the small batch limited editions. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.“

“Nice location right in the middle of downtown Hyannis. Smaller than other BBC locations, but with the same cozy atmosphere. Good service and food. Beer selection is reliably good, usually with local brews such as Cape Cod Beer and Devil’s Purse.“

“Very good selection. It’s located on Route 28 (Iyannough Road). I stop by there when I’m taking a walk. Decent craft beer selection as well as the standbys. Overall a very good beer store.“

“Small and cozy brewery setup. Enter through the gift shop, with tshirts and branded pint glasses. Small ’self-administered’ tour area in the back where you can see some fermenters and the brew kit. Six beers on the day I visited, all were mediocre. Nice staff and a decent deal on the tasters. Bottles are expensive (and not to be consumed on site). If you’re on the Cape it is worth dropping by, if for no other reason that there really isn’t anywhere else to go for fresh beer.“

“Came in here on a rainy Tuesday and the place was packed to the point of chaos. Not sure anyone was working at all other than a person or two behind the bar. People were shoving and angry. Lots of unsupervised children running around. A line of about 50 people to get a sampler glass, and then wait in that same line every time to get a refill? No Thanks! I’ve had a few of their beers before, and I would have liked to try more, but not with that kind of madness. We were there for about 5 minutes and just decided to leave. This was a total pass for me. Maybe I’ll revisit next time I’m on the Cape, but kind of doubt it.“

“A quick stop to refill a growler I inherited. No time to sample a flight, but I’ve had plenty of their beers before and was searching for stuff to round out what I had missed seasonally. They keep a good amount of bombers in a cooler along with their tap offerings. I unfortunately had missed out on their Hot Blonde, which they said had only lasted a week (I was there two weeks after the release). An okay brewshop along with a small beer garden and the facilities themselves, I was pretty much there only for the retail, but looking forward to going back. A bit of an odd location, but looks like here they have the room they need as opposed to their former place on Main St. Hyannis.“

“Stopped in on a Saturday. Service was top notch. Had a flight and a pint. Flight was $5 for 5 samples, pint was $5 also. 9 beers on tap, free tortilla chips in the taproom and a very laid back atmosphere. You also get to keep your tasting glass from the flight. Seems somewhat random in terms of location. Beer was solid. Very industrial feeling.“

“I loved this place when I visited Main street Hyannis... Had the feel of a real British Pub... Only thing they don’t let you rate on here is the entertainment... it was awesome the couple nights I was there.. Beer was good and cold on those hot July nights“

“Great tour and very imppressive in depth conversation about brewing especially the fact that a small brewery is the center of a spiderweb linked with other small businesses in the area such as local bakers and farms. Plus I got the last available growler of Stargazer, cant wait to go back.“

“I remember stopping here on a rainy day. the tour was pretty in depth about beer making process which bored my mother in law to the point of waiting in car. decor leaves plenty to be desired but you get samples and growlers aren’t much money and the staff was nice.“

“So about a year ago my mom and step dad decided to move out to the cape full time. I was delighted when I found that Cape Cod Beer Co. was about 10 minutes away from their new house. Easy enough place to find and convenient to get to. They have a retail shop and the ability to do growler fills. During the non tourist season it seems they do a limited release one-off every month, but in the summer production is maxed on keeping up with the demand for all of the summer stuff. Which is pretty solid. Quality of the beer is pretty good, very friendly staff. Been there a number of times already, and I’ll certainly be back a whole bunch more. Growler refills are a great value.“

“When I found out before I went here that it was a chain, I was a bit hesitant. However (and especially for a chain), it’s quite good. Especially for being in an area that is a vacation area where one would not expect to find a lot of craft beer. They had a number of beers on from the local Cape Cod Beer Company, as well as stuff like Allagash Black, Dale’s Pale, and some other nice surprises. Came on a weekday in the middle of the day, which for most bars is generally a slower time, and it certainly was slow, which I prefer. Service was quick and friendly, food was good as well. Since my mom lives about ten minutes away, I’ll be back.“

“Visited in April 2010. Right on the main street in Hyannis but there was no problem finding a parking spot almost directly outside. The focus is, understandably, on British beers (which are obviously of no interest to me) but there were a few US craft brews too. You probably won’t find a bigger selection elsewhere in the immediate area. Nothing particularly rare but they did have some Dogfish Heads and Harpoon Leviathan. More importantly they had two of the local Cape Cod beers on tap which was what I was really there for. The relatively low score for selection reflects the preponderance of commonplace (for me at least) imports but non-Brits may well find the range more to their liking. Soup and a sandwich was fine. Pleasant pubby atmosphere although we were there mid afternoon so it was fairly quiet. Seemed like a place where I would have been happy to while away an evening in an area short of top class beer destinations but we were just passing through. The owner of the chain happened to be in the house and we had a good old chinwag. Which was nice. Worth a stop.“

“Very nice restaurant/pub; went for dinner with the family while at the Cape. I was pretty impressed by the fact that for an American company (despite the British name) there were only 5 of the 27 taps that were either AB or M/C. A decent variety amongst the rest. The food was decent, and my waiter continued to make the runs to the bar with a smile to bring me samples of whatever I wanted to try. Definitely a place I will look up again anytime I am in one of the 8-or-so towns in MA with one of these pubs.“

“Since I moved away, I still crave the jerk chicken sandwich! I’ve always had a great time there, the food is pretty decent, and the selection is good for Cape Cod.“

“Great place, tons of English beers, nothing really rare but at least some draught Fullers is worth coming for. Very good food, albeit slightly greasy, but I enjoyed the atmosphere. Kind of sad that these "british beer companies" dont have handpumps. Oh well. Good service and very friendly bartenders that gave me free drinks just for showing interest in something aside from Guinness and bass.“
